Ordered 2 fish & chips. Fish was all batter chips were soggy -Not one chip was crisp. Disgusting. Won't be going back.
I've been ordering fish and chips here quite frequently and I can't stop coming back, the food is just delicious and the food is ready much much faster than other takeaway shops, amazing food and amazing service and even better prices. :)
Over charged me $13.33 instead of $13, didn't notice. Chicken burger was yum, but the chips tasted rancid, like they had been left of or water of like the oil was off, really reqlly disgusting, only ate 2 of them, a watse of $5. Also their one table inside so disgustingly sticky, like, peeling your skin worse than a band aid sticky, I would not eat off it. Really dissapointing, I had bbq pork there before and it was yum but after this experience, I'll never go back
Soggy undercooked full of grease mess. Looks to have new owners running the fryers at low temp. Batter severely undercooked almost raw .
I called up to order for my young daughter 1 snapper and 1 scoop chips and asked if the snapper was fresh, and was told yes it would be fresh. This was not fresh and if it was snapper it was as thin as thin and coated in batter. The cost of this was $14 with a small scoop of chips. Disappointed in quality. I should have taken back rather than giving to dog.
First time ordering from here, which I ordered egg fried rice and got random pieces of meat scattered throughout the dish. Would be nice to just get what was ordered, not difficult.
Local takeaway so have ordered from them quite a bit over the years but tonight was the last time. Always a great friendly service but the quality of the food has really dropped compared to how it used to be. Ordered fish and chips tonight and the fish had an off fish smell and taste. The chips were terrible, over cooked. The oil they cook them in, must be well over due a change. Disappointing they are happy to dish this out. Will be going elsewhere from now on.
Got a shrimp chow mein, it was 90% celery and hard uncooked broccoli and cauliflower. Hardly any noodles or shrimp. Quite disgusted at the quality of food. I won’t be coming back, a waste of time and money. This needs to be rectified
Chips were nice. Probably a solid handful for 2$ I paid slightly more for better fish. The one up from hoki. Unfortunately the fish and the crab stick had quite an off fish taste to them. Also the batter was a bit rubbery. Prob to eggy or not cooked long enough? My son wouldn't finish his. Was also confused as outside signs say noodle shop but it is still also a fish n chip shop. Would go again for chips or possibly I would try the noodles next time.
Lovely fresh, beautifully cooked food. A tad bit more expensive than most takeaway fish n chip shops however, worth every penny. Staff are most helpful, shop is clean, and organized offering plenty of seating whilst waiting for your order as this takeaway shop is often very busy. In saying that, customers can call and order well ahead of time u wish to pick up. I personally recommend their crumbed snapper. Super fresh absolutely stunning to eat, (or in my case, "devour"), $8.00 a piece, again worth every penny. Highly recommended by myself and flatmates. I would have given them 10 stars but the most could give was 5 so 5 stars all the way from us!!!!
