The worst rooms I've stayed in in a long time. Windows that don't shut, constant dripping outside the window, corridors that stink of smoke, tiny beds, zero sound proofing, view of a rotting towel on the rooftop within reach. Will avoid at all cost in the future.
If you are looking to party, want to be loud and don't care about other people... go to Ramada, you will find like-minded 'friends' in the hotel ... and in front of the hotel, too. And the best: The hotel staff does not care, either. You can be drunk, you can have fights on hotel floors... they won't call the police for hours... just like on the evening of the 10 October... when guest already pointed out at 6pm that this will not end well... and the "party-people" were only trespassed at 2am... a bit unfortunate for anyone having to work on the next day - but, again, who cares?
This was literally the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. They even had a bath tub in the room. Fantastic view of city streets. Great 24 x 7 service, and wasnβt asked for a deposit on the room. And awesome free secure parking.
Great location well priced for a very busy weekend in Hamilton. We had a two bedroom apartment. Very clean and tidy spacious as well excellent facilities. Unfortunately sound travels and you can hear every footstep in the hallway throughout the whole night. However, based on price we would stay there again. Great service in the restaurant and well priced food and beverage
Pretty good stay. Beds were nice and firm. Cleaning was good and thorough. Location was central with a nice cafΓ© attached to the lobby with good food and coffee options. Hallways/entrance ways could use an upgrade. Not all rooms equip with microwave .
Really central, the room was a bit small but has everything you need to be comfortable, the heat pump was great. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The paid parking was excellent.
The hotel is older with few room amenities, but overall clean and comfortable. The reception desk staff were the least friendly people ever encountered at a hotel with the exception of the Indian woman who provided helpful service with a smile β¦the others could have been robots.
I haven't come across a smaller room ever in NZ, even though I travel extensively across the country for business. It was absolutely cramped, with even basic stuff like microwave missing. Lighting in the room was so dim, I was struggling to read my book. There was no hair dryer, or shampoo in the bathroom. The width of the cabinet was less than half of that of mine. Hotel parking is limited and located in a clumsy area. And I would definitely like to meet the great person who has painted the demarcation lines in the parking area. You would literally struggle to park an SUV without touching the lines on two sides. The receptionists were lousy, unimpressive and didn't seem to give a monkey's to their customers. The good things about this hotel - good location (heart of the city, and lots of eateries around) , and the room and bathroom were definitely clean. But, all this at a negotiated rate of around $400 per night. Doesn't seem worthy at all!!
