“New World is very close to my house and the best place to go shopping to. It has food for years, has food for anything you’re looking to get. They have a good service, very easy shopping with the staff and clearly marked aisles. They have kind chatty staff and the staff can easily help you find what you’re looking for. They never run out of stock, so if what you’re looking for isn’t there, ask staff to get it. New World is definitely one of the greatest shopping markets in NZ.”

“Staff are bubbly and very kind - man behind register literally singing songs and cheerful. They had many well known branded clothing and it was not ridiculously priced. Store is very clean and changing rooms are spacious. Doors automatically open which is helpful when walking out with your hands full of items purchased :)”

“I went into farmers to purchase an arrangement of gifts for a friend going through a hard time, I was in the makeup/skincare section. My mum asked the lovely girl at the checkout where the slippers were - she was very sweet and prompt to show us where they were. I got my things and went to checkout, first i’d like to compliment Nea’s mannerisms, she was very polite and very prompt with her scanning/packaging. More so I want to say my appreciation for her compliment on my voice, she said I have a nice voice - a compliment I’ve never received before but it really made my day and has left an impression. Nea I wish I got your social media to say thank you again, but i’m going to leave this review in hopes you get recognition for your amazing welcoming service.”

Reasonable prices and even better of you can get it during one of frequent sales. Well stocked with wide range of items from lower to higher quality and prices, something for everyone’s budget. “Loved this store and really enjoyed shopping here, there were some great deals on and marvelous selection. When I got back to my car my daughter messaged asking me to look for an item in Farmers she wanted. It had been a long day and with achy feet I called the store, I spoke to a very helpful young lady in the toy department, she checked that they had the item in stock and took one to the counter ready for me to just pop back in. So helpful and my feet were grateful too! I will be back.”

Staff are polite and helpful when approached and store is clean and tidy even when busy whether its the start or end of the day, shelves always appear to have decent stock - unless the special is great then its cleared out quickly.”

“Beautiful revamp of the store happening. Looks really inviting and a great layout. Checkout staff are really friendly and helpful. It's certainly not just New World, but the price of pumpkins is just absolutely horrendously ridiculous and unjustifiable. Sadly, there'll be no roast pumpkin this Christmas . . . New World Gate Pa though, a real asset to Tauranga. Love the shop, love the staff.”
