Varia helped me on the phone just before, and she was incredibly helpful in getting my order out in time. She was prompt, very friendly, and made what seemed impossible feel possible. Thank you so much.

The staff showed no respect for customers and no common sense. I placed an online order and got a text saying it would be ready, with only a code to collect it from their locker. I arrived on time only to find there was no locker, only a notice telling me to go to checkout. I gave them my code, but my order wasn’t even ready! It's over time. Then they said the code wasn’t enough and demanded photo ID, which was never mentioned anywhere. I showed my student ID, but they refused, insisting on a driver’s licence, I dont have one, even though there were no restricted items. In the end, they made me open my bank app to prove payment. That’s a serious privacy concern!

No regard for human safety, for both customers and their workers as they have no security. I have been told that workers here (especially night workers) feel unsafe walking over to their cars as they get stalked after their shift is over. Another recent incident where a customer was attacked by delinquents in his car at their carpark at night. I hope this establishment considers adding more security, such as security guards as workers there have to put up with having to deal with thieves and people threatening them. It is such a shame as I shop there often but now I feel very unsafe even just parking there. Shocking to be honest that one of the biggest supermarkets in New Zealand has no security when you see security in Pak n Save and Woolworths.

I love your deli especially the potato salad. Yum! Bought a lot of grocery stuff yesterday and I got what I needed from this branch. I had an encounter with 2 of your employees while shopping. They need to smile more and be accommodating as well. I smiled at your staff at the counter but never got a smile back. That was really awkward.

Slightly small selection of food. Expensive prices. But very easy to access and nice store.

Nice & clean. The deli offers impressive salads and nice cold cut meats. Fish & butcher is awesome, as is produce. New world is a little bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion. Thanks

Your checkout old lady supervisor needs to get off her high horse, ID checking people who are closer to 40 than 20 (even 30) is not okay, and when shown an overseas license of 37, she didn't accept that and still denied alcohol, it's absolutely ridiculous and it's not the first time at this new world. Somebody needs to go to Specsavers...

Dropped in for a quick visit. Access off the road was easy. Parking was easy, though the carpark can be busy. They had what I needed, which was only a couple of items, and the price was okay. The service was quick and friendly.
