Pak’nSave Clearance Street always delivers great value! The store is well-organized, prices are unbeatable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I always find good deals here. Highly recommended!
I usually use a rucksack to carry my shopping home (25 minute walk) but I wasn't allowed to wear my rucksack into the store which i get they've done to reduce stealing but there were women with massive handbags which would be far easier to use to steal something. I asked the women who worked there if i could leave my rucksack by the tills so i could use it to put my shopping in. And she said i can use a trolley - which makes absolutely no sense - did she listen to me? She said i had to leave it at customer service and can get it at the end. So i queued to get to the self checkout and put my stuff down at the till, left to join the queue at customer service to get my rucksack back and got back to someone else using my till so i had to wait for them to finish. Just a stupid stupid idea. I completely understand if they don't want people putting their shopping in their rucksack while walking around the store (not my intention), but if they're trying to combat this, then provide baskets like virtually every other store around the world
We are a frequent flyers here, as shopping the deals of the week is a great way to save more when we dont get tempted with the extras. Staff are polite and helpful when approached and store is clean and tidy even when busy whether its the start or end of the day, shelves always appear to have decent stock - unless the special is great then its cleared out quickly.
We visited Pak'nSave on Clarence Street in Hamilton during our trip to Taupo (14/12/24) and it was a great experience. The store was well-organized, and the aisles were easy to navigate. Despite being busy, the staff were efficient and friendly. The variety of products available was impressive, and everything was fresh and reasonably priced. It's definitely a convenient stop for groceries when in the area.
I stopped going to PAKnSAVE a couple of years ago because I found it unfriendly and all a bit overwhelming, however a couple of visits to the Clarence St store restored my confidence. Friendly and helpful staff willing to give a little smile, set out was good and prices better on many items. So well done PnS Clarence St
Standard supermarket experience, its great that the layouts are fairly similar in most pak n sav stores. And always handy to have a lotto counter when the jackpots are in the clouds
Just love this place, It satisfies me with mostly everything, That's why I do my Big load of Shopping every week there.
Very clean, well stocked shop, particularly given the supply chain issues at the moment. Had a lovely, pleasant, efficient checkout operator too. All in all as enjoyable as a shopping trip can be - a necessary evil
Well stocked and clean and tidy the day I visited. Huge parking space like other Pak’nSave branches but very busy. Please keep eye at checkout because there is usual price difference at the shelf and the checkout probably lack of communication between the price updates.
