A few days ago, we brought a rice cooker. It did not work, took it back to the shop and they replaced it immediately. Really good service, even though very busy with sales on. Both staff I dealt with were excellent.
Make sure your staff don't abruptly and rudely "tell" customers to go pick up another product in store if the barcode fell off with an attitude as if it is the customers problem or they are being a burden. Sometimes those people are not obviously unwell, pregnant e.t.c. or struggling in some way that being unkind after being approached with respect places undue stress on the customer. Don't then be surprised if someone then sticks up for them straight after. Politely asking is fine rudely telling or pressuring is not. I don't expect perfect service just respect and fair treatment of all customers.
I called they put aside the goods I wanted and I was able to pick up and pay with no hassles. All the staff are friendly and helpful and usually easy to find.
Love shopping at Briscoes, did not have the picture frame I was after. But it was a long shot, and most times I get what I want from there. Helpful staff, well laid out store
Love this place nice quality stuff but something's r insanely priced. Would love it even more if there were clear over head signs to indicate where stuff is instead of walking out not finding it. Really friendly staff tho thanks guys
Very disappointed with coffee machine I brought today was delonghi machine that had a sign just below the machine outve the box saying 40% off price $699.99 my dreams had come true on getting a machine brought it took it home and thought it's totally different machine to what was advertised went back to exchange to the right one and all to be told it would cost me another $800 on top of that not what the sign said to me I do have a picture . I said false advertising I feel I should've got the machine for $699.99 because it totally looks like it was stating the machine above sign was the one on special .no good briscoes hope u have moved that sign and u should've honored me w discount price not the price that wasn't there to see .
Recently moved from next to Riccarton mall, it seems like they resized it smaller as well. Probably realized they were a bit crazy too expansive for certain items... Anyway, nice store, as always. I have always loved Briscoes, you can get normal items with some style, and I love it. And always get some special weekend deal. Recommend
Nice new shop, huge floor space , lots to choose from and every now and then, awesome bargains which means huge discounts. If you are in no hurry to get an item immediately, it's worthwhile to wait for the specials.
