PakβnSave Lower Hutt is a solid supermarket with great prices and a good range of products. The store is well laid out, making it easy to find what you need, and itβs generally well stocked even during busy times. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the checkouts move quickly which makes the whole shop stress-free. Itβs a reliable place to do a full grocery shop without breaking the bank. A great option for value and convenience in Lower Hutt.
I would like to share some excellent feedback for Suzie. I visited the store with my partner and our daughter, and we were looking for blueberries, which we could not find anywhere. Suzie was clearly very busy at the time, yet she did not simply say they were unavailable and move on. Instead, she went the extra mile by offering to call her team leader to confirm the situation. After checking, she let us know that blueberries would be available next week. We really appreciated her effort, especially in a situation where many people would have considered it just part of the job to say βno.β Her proactive approach, willingness to help, and customer-focused attitude made a strong impression on us. This level of employee truly stands out and reflects very positively on her and the store.
Pak n Save is handy for a quick shop and I have never found it to be super busy even at the weekend. The produce is good and I like the size of and the selection in the deli section. It's got an EV charging slot in the underground park
Unfortunately with the price of goods we all need to purchase we have to shop somewhere, so it was Pac nSave this time. It's just a place to buy what you need. Checks that were open had people in them being served so I had to become one of the unpaid staff and serve myself. Often wonder how they workout the tare of the goods you weigh in different packaging. Be great if you got a discount for serving yourself.
Great variety of products. Good spaces and adequate time for your shopping from 7 am to 10 pm
1st visit to this store. It is huge!! Very clean. Shelves fully stocked and easy to access. Produce displayed really well. Everything looked fresh. (No excess leaves or onion skins left on the shelves as i have seen - often - in another store!) Staff obviously keep the shelves and floor etc very clean. Pleasure to shop there. Prices very competitive too!
Solid budget shopping experience. Use the underground parking as it's 200 times easier to get in and out of, and nobody seems to be aware that it's there! Hard to tell if the prices are at all decent these days but if you only buy canned food you'll be just fine. Had some dodgy strawberries from here a couple of times though.
