   Great place to shop groceries, drinks and household items. Vast location and events going on now. Check out amazing smegs to stocks last. Hurry up and grab them while you can. End 30th August and I can't wait to pick up mine soon.

   Very disappointed. I went in yesterday Friday morning to buy my lunch and was looking at a bag which had Carol on it with something else and i asked the lady what’s in this and she said it’s one of the staffs lunch. I asked why would you put your lunch here? It should be removed else where. The lady ignore me and put the pack back into hot food warmer. And walked away mumbling. It’s ashame because I’m a regular here. Very disappointed

   Very good supermarket. Fresh produce displayed neatly. Shelves are uncluttered. Clean premises and aisles are wide and easy to navigate your way around. Staff very helpful and friendly. A pleasure to shop at New World in Porirua.

   Just got a $65 ticket for parking there after-hours to go to the Cinema AND shop at NW - I won't be going to either of them again. I, like many people, have parked here for years when going to the Cinema late at night (because who wants to use the dodgy underground park, and get your car broken into?). Thanks for nothing, New World - I won't be back :-(

   Got a $65 ticket for parking there after hours. Wow, New World that's another level of RIPPING people off during financially difficult times. Can you make sure to put your signs at eye level and in big bold writing, please? I will not be paying the fine as I did not give a 3rd party permission to use and access my details. Thank you for your hidden aggressive tactics.

   Watch out - they have camera working on the car park. 90 MINUTES. $65 fine. We had a lot of shopping to do at the supermarket to take overseas and after several trips back and forth to the car left the carpark - only to receive a $65 demand in the mail from Smart Compliance Management in Auckland. Either New World is desperate for extra income or Smart Management. Yes, you can put warning signs up but there needs to be some discretion applied for genuine customers to avoid falling into the grubby little operator category which both New World Porirua and Smart Compliance Management imho have. For one I shall never shop at this supermarket again - there are plenty of other good choices in Porirua to go to.
