   Prime location with shops a short walk away and train station, ranui domain, fresh choice and medical center verry close. Been living in 68 for 4 years and will be staying as long as I can. The community is great and we really see the good side of people with sausage sizes and free health check ups. The manager brad goes out of his way to make sure to address any problems quick smart. Wouldn't live anywhere else and highly recommend.

   **Just updated this review that I originally wrote last year :) I have lived here since March 2023 and if it weren’t for this place I’d be living on the streets or would have to return home to Wellington. I’m offended that people describe people that live here as not taking pride In Themselves like a previous comment said.. I take pride in myself I work everyday though some of my neighbors may not be employed they have their reasons we are not in a position to judge others. I have not had any trouble here people generally keep to themselves and if you want to socialize then you are welcome to. I like the place cause there’s people from all walks of life. My accommodation suits me perfect. The point is if it weren’t for this place I’d have no where else to go. Forever grateful to Brad for making my moving in easy and accepting me during a tough time in my life. Contrary to what’s being said the place is safe and there is many times I’ve come home late and never felt unsafe. Perks of the place it’s close to local shops and bus stops and a short walk to the train station. Nice short walk to my work. Lots of perks of living here. Wish I knew about this place when I was on the streets back in 2019. No judgement here. This place provides free food, clothing and items for those struggling as well

   Have lived here since 2021 and it's not at all bad from what others may say. This place helps out people in need and it's definitely not a boring time here lol people tend to keep to themselves but also there's a community here too. The owner Brad is very welcoming and this place helps people stay off the streets so definitely recommend for short or long term stays.

   I lived in Western park village for over 1 year and have recently moved out , my experience I found the community spirit to be great , I made alot of friends and I was impressed by the helping of the staff & the park it,s self they provide free meals , assist the community with free food at front for those that need it. I try not to judge people but I can tell without them their would be alot of people out on the street because their are alot who are really struggling through life and the housing problem isn,t helping . So they really helped me out when I needed it and would be happy to stay there again in the future.

   Western Park village is a great place to be if you've got nowhere else to be. Ranui community no matter what people say is a great community with lots of support for the people who live there. You will not go hungry at Western Park village as they provide most essential needs.

   Please be aware that this is longer term accommodation to house low income persons in need. If you are in need, this could be the place for you, a small supportive community... if you are looking for accommodation while traveling, this will only suit packpackers

   This place is an absolute eyesore and needs to be closed down. Have lived in the Ranui area for many years and watched it improve while the Western Park Village continues to drag it on down. You want to house people who take no pride in themselves and behave anti social in the community well take responsibility for them! Just sick of going to the Ranui Shops and they are there sitting outside shops begging, drinking or just being a general nuisance. At the Ranui Domain they are often hanging around there drinking or using drugs. Not acceptable, and do not say it’s not your residents causing this either because we watch them walking to and from the Western Park Village. Enough is enough, shut up shop and sell the land to developers who can make useful housing out of it. Take action and do something about it for those of us who live here and own our homes or consider that we will be uniting as a community against this place!
