   I stayed here for two nights and was very impressed. The accommodation was comfortable and well kept, but what really stood out was the duty manager on-site ( I’m sorry I’m bad at remembering names, and I didn’t really remember his name). He was exceptionally helpful, easy to reach. He was attentive, had excellent communication, and went out of his way to be helpful throughout my stay. It’s reassuring to know someone capable is there if needed.It made my stay far less stressful knowing that assistance was always available if needed. A well-run place, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

   I had a great stay at this hostel. I especially want to thank the duty manager “Mana” for being so helpful, when I forgot my key and called at around 3am, he kindly helped me get back in without any problem. It’s really reassuring that the hostel has a duty manager available at all times, which makes you feel safe and well looked after. Highly recommend staying here!

   I was warmly relieved with in person touring of the hostel from the get go from Mana! He is very kind, patient, and helpful- making sure all questions are answered and expectations are met! He and his coworker kept the hostel clean and drama free during my time there! Its a great location for Auckland CBD. Sometimes the other guests create more mess than necessary- not being conscientious of others regarding the kitchen and bathroom and noise levels, but Mana and co. Worked hard to make sure it would stay as clean as possible! Thanks to owner Edward for an affordable stay- I'm very grateful!

   I stayed here for just one night and absolutely loved it! The place was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. The staff, especially Mana, was so friendly and welcoming ! He really made my stay feel special. I would definitely come back if I get the chance!

   price to high for what was offered .very noisy but says in ad sound proof.... no air conditioning apart from opening a window, very tired room . beds were clean but all in all old ( converted office bloke) and needs new windows and a tidy up. no sleep for the 1 night there to much noise from outside & to hot. no one to help when arrived apart from other stayers. will not be back

   It is the worst Hostel of the world, the owner does not care for the guests and je offers besser without mattress!! He is more or less a gangster and Auckland government should close that so called Hostel! It is a Shake for that beautiful city!

   This establishment steals its customers and has no conscience. We had a four night reservation in February. On our way from France and during our stopover, our plane to Auckland was cancelled due to a cyclone. We immediately notified the hostel. However, they refused to accept any solution either to postpone our reservation for when we arrived, to refund us or even to postpone our reservation to a future date so as not to lose our money. The words of the inexperienced employees we corresponded with is a real shame. It's a total lack of empathy for customers who are completely helpless in the face of such a nasty situation. We are finally losing half of our money in this story.
