   They treat the guest here like a bunch of children by locking the kitchen by 9pm, the laundry by 3pm. The rooms are tiny and the appliances in the room is appalling. The TV doesn't even work as well.

   My niece is staying here and the manager is gross! He's rude, very racist and gave me the fingers. He screamed at me to move my car and I do not recommend this motel to anyone!! Avoid, beware and be cautious. There were no signage and the driveway was being fixed. This guy should be fired. The motel was dirty and needs to be inspected. Shame on you!!

   I booked what was supposed to be a "deluxe" room for my wife through a travel agent. Between first inquiring and booking the next day, the rate went up to $338 per day. I assume, wrongly as it turned out that for that rate she would have a good room, good facilities, and good service. The room was a small standard hotel room with no special "deluxe" features or amenities. It was not even properly cleaned. My wife asked the manager how such a basic ordinary room could cost $338 per night. He quite openly told her the rates had been increased because of a sporting event. It had nothing to do with the quality of the room. He sounded proud of his business skill in squeezing a high downtown hotel rate for a third rate motel room. To my mind it was simply fraud.

   The staff were lovely and very accommodating. They even went the extra mile to take their guests to the foo fighters concert instead of taking a taxi. The only thing I will say is I was a little disappointed there wasn't a kitchen as such. There was a jug but had to fill it up with the water in the bathroom as there was no sink or anywhere to wash your dishes, and I didn't like the bed as it was quite hard but hubby loved it.

   Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Hot water for showers was in short supply and we only managed to get one hot shower in the 5 nights we stayed. Shower needs a good scrub. Rooms serviced daily and Wi-Fi available. Kitchen set up is minimal. Rooms are warm and beds are very comfortable.

   My first welcome to New Zealand. Run by a very friendly and helpful family. I stayed in a nice and clean recently refurbished room with top notch facilities including tea/coffee making facilities, a microwave, fridge, fast WiFi and a good TV with Sky. Very comfortable bed and an impressive shower. The hotel itself is in a perfect location on a good accessible main road and it has plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat nearby and a five minute walk from the train in to the city which itself only takes 15 minutes. Very happy with my stay.
