We stayed in this hotel and it was good. The bed was cozy and warm and you can feel the old Japanese house, I think. But, I knew the gardens are beautiful and hot showers are there. And there is wifi and I think the people who did a 1 star review is wrong and it was beautiful. I recommend this hotel!
The place was dirty, mouldy and noisy. The kitchen rubbish bin was full of maggots. there were people who were living there who also had alcohol problems. I wouldn’t recommend stay away at all costs!!
Booked a stay 3 weeks in advance, due to a change in plans had to cancel 2 days after booking. He failed to mention the full refund policy and insisted he could and would only pay for 65% of total cost. When the refund was received this only totaled 45%, while he blames Air BnB this host is a total fraud. 1/10, to describe me as livid is an understatement.
I don’t understand how this place is still open. It’s mouldy, gross and cold. I barely slept because the beds are so close together and the long term people who stay there have stuff everywhere. It should close and be knocked down. Disgusting.
A little confronting when you walk into the room and see how close the beds are together... But actually had a really good sleep! Cute place, fairly good location.
It is quiet, clean and up until now, have had no problems. However, trying to get hold of anyone regarding a gap in my booking (checking out for a night before coming back) is proving impossible in person, by phone or email
