“Only place I trust in Wellington for manicure, the best aesthetic and design for nail art. Got the LUX treatment and handmask was so soothing and moisturizing. Just did ‘cateye’ effect for my natural nails so I can still wear gloves for work. Alina was meticulous to details and I loved the result. Nice soothing environment, always looking forward to coming with friends to pamper ourselves.”

“i was having such a bad day but i am so glad that i was able to get a bubble tea from noahs ark courtney place. one of the servers named charity gave me immaculate service and my slushy was made on point. the atmosphere in the store was so calming and charity was so bubbly and kind, i asked for her name so we can hopefully become friends as she was so lovely to me. this experience made my day so much better and i am so excited to see charity again for another passionfruit slushy. :)”

“We regularly come here with the kids, extended family and friends! We love the outdoor but undercover section. It’s warm even on a cold day! We so appreciate the kids area and try to book a table near it! The staff are always friendly, quick and efficient! We have several food allergies with the kiddos and it’s never been a problem here! Kids love it! The only negative is that there is not a dairy free option for kids dessert eg only soft serve. Would be fabulous to have another option even ice blocks.”

“Great American themed bar, with saddle seating at the bar and plenty of cowboy hats to go around! The decor throughout is great and in keeping with the theme and everywhere is clean. I was only visiting for a drink but the bar staff proactively pointed out the happy hour which was lovely. There’s a great atmosphere with the music and prices are reasonable too - one of the best bars on the street for me!”

“Columbus coffee is a great spot when no it's raining. With an adjacent playground for the kids, you can grab a nice coffee while they play. A bowl of chips for them to snack on makes the experience even better. Then have a wander through Mitre 10 for your gardening and diy needs.”

Popped by majestic cafe in the mall and not only is the coffee good but the lady that served me actually made my morning. Made me feel seen, heard and valued as a customer. “I stopped by Coffee Culture at lunchtime for a mocha latte, and it’s the best I’ve had so far in Christchurch! I’ve been hooked on mocha drinks ever since a tea-tasting ceremony in Japan, where I had the most unforgettable mocha. The mocha latte here had a well-balanced portion of tea powder, delivering a pure, smooth, and hearty taste—perfect for colder weather. However, the mocha powder didn’t fully dissolve, which was a bit disappointing—definitely could use a better tea whisk. The customer service was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, and I was especially impressed by the person taking orders—patient, welcoming, and greeting everyone with a warm smile. The café is also in a great spot, surrounded by a variety of stores, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to visit. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!”

“We had the most amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Perfect location just a bus ride into the city which leaves from outside. The room was perfect exactly what we needed and the bed was so comfortable. The food in the restaurant/bar was amazing and extra points for the good Guiness which my partner said was the best one he’s had in New Zealand!! Top class service and hospitality, shoutout to the manager who really engaged with us throughout our trip and who was always up for a chat, he took care of everything we needed throughout our trip and made us feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend staying here to everyone traveling to Christchurch and would love to return again.”
