My friend and I come here often for a chill drink after work - nice drinks and snacks, good music, warm, good spot to actually have a conversation! The English guy behind the bar is awesome and has some good chat.
I didnβt realise this place is actually the ticket counter for the movies! So as we enjoyed our cocktails we also enjoyed that popcorn smell.
Lovely place but the rudest, most submissive bar tender I've come across. These only way he could've been less interested in our being there would've been to stand with his back to us! He says nothing when we arrived, we had to ask for a drinks menu and the whole time he said very little and looked totally disinterested. We'd been here before numerous times, but much better staff were on. Won't be back.

Straight out of a Bond film. A seriously gorgeous place for drinking cocktails, shaken or stirred!
The venue is a nice spot and service was good, but the food was terrible, it seems like it has had some serious budget cuts in the catering department. We decided to grab some lunch on a Sunday before we went to a movie. We ordered a Margherita pizza, vege platter for four people and fries. The pizza base was like a spongy supermarket bought one under cooked or possibly even microwaved, lots of chewy cheese and a drizzle of watery pesto on top. The platter for four (maybe more suitable for one or two) had two pieces of cheap slightly stale baguette with mozzarella, tomato and pesto on it, some stale Ritz/Snax crackers and about a tablespoon of hummus and some more watery pesto, six olives, four spring rolls and some unidentifiable deep fried crunchy things. The fries were fries, you can't muck those up really. The food was like something you'd get at Junglerama or Lollipops playland. With two drinks it came to about $64, way overpriced for the quality and quantity, all very dissapointing unfortunately.
