Hmmm... Honestly? I'm confused. Recent reviews have scored pretty high but our experience tonight was totally lack lustre and overpriced. The service was where I put one star - our waiter was reasonably attentive and pleasant. The other star was for the mere existence of the place and the fact they were able to accommodate us on a busy Friday night. We both ordered a couple of drinks and burgers (which come with fries) and fried calamari to share. The calamari was tender and served with tasty condiments. Not bad. However, my partner took a bite of his burger and couldn't continue. The rest of the patty went untouched. I managed to make better headway on mine but, frankly, you could get a better burger in a chip shop (for half the price).

Wonderful waitress, unfortunately that’s were the wonder started and stopped. The menu on the website hasn’t been updated to what we were given. It was almost half an hour before our drinks arrived, and almost an hour for the food to arrive even though the restaurant was less than half full. The red wine jus was like no red wine jus I have ever tasted, it completely tainted what could’ve been an average steak. The extra star is awarded for a happy teenager who enjoyed the burger.
