Amazing food service and atmosphere with an amazing menu with lots of variation. Sadly, was misinformed about when the pub quiz would begin and ended up missing out, but overall this didn't take away from the great dining experience
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I hosted a family event that mark a 10 year anniversary and we can proudly say this was definitely one for the books. I strongly recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a memorable experience of a life time whether your hosting functions or private events. Pre-booked event, the team at Shed 22 were amazing, friendly and dedicated on providing the best service possible for us on the event date, throughout service even right down to the finer details of pre-planning a week prior. We were truly well looked after, respected and all staff we above and beyond for us all. The food was AMAZING. This was one of the many highly praised experiences we had. We opted for a 3 course meal for all our guests with an extra main and deserts, and I tell you now all dishes were packed full of flavour and portion sizes were off the charts, surprisingly big. We were also able to take away whatever was left over which we also appreciate. This definitely exceeded our expectations and didn't disappoint. Thank you Shed 22 and the hardworking staff for making us feel so special and valued.
Delicious food, friendly service, and a lovely ambiance. Unfortunately, we were seated in an awkward spot. When the automatic sliding door opened, and it was a bit windy in Wellington, we caught the breeze. The wind caused the smell of the toilet to blow over to us, which we found quite disgusting.
Excellent, right on the water front, so spacious! Staff and food 10/10 loved it!!
My hubby and I went to Shed 22 for lunch and what a great place it was. Super friendly staff, plenty of food options with the extensive menu, we wanted to try everything, looked so good, great wine, beer, and spirit choices too and all at reasonable prices. Definitely coming back here again
Service is great. Food nothing special. Nothing wrong with taste or size just average. Price was what you would expect. Make sure if you get poached eggs to ask for them to be runny as they tend to over cook them.
Went here for brunch. Absolutely the worst eggs I've ever had. Ordered bratwurst sausage, poached eggs and toast. The eggs appeared to have been over cooked, then heated up after cooling. Beyond the texture, the taste was so bad I almost threw up following my one, and only mouthful. The sausages were tough and over cooked, but only luke warm. The staff were friendly.
Dined during an all blacks match, and the atmosphere was fabulous. Even with all the busyness and people and noise, we received top class attentive service. Great restaurant/bar menu with choices for vegetarians. Low alchohol beer and wine on offer.
Mac's brewery (Shed 22). I've been here a few times with family and friends. The atmosphere, views, and staff are always great. Daughter and dad lunch today, Tiger beer was great. The fish and chips were a bit disappointing, coleslaw was very bland, fish OK chips were good.
Lucky I didn't give this place just one star...it is lucky it's staff are friendly and do give good service otherwise I would have. Came in today for a quick bite and some beers. Beer was good, but the fish and chips came so quickly and it was burnt that it must have been sitting under the hotline for a while, this showing it had been cooked a while ago. It tasted terrible, and the chips and coleslaw too. Normally I'd say something but can't be bothered today as just want to enjoy the day. Apart from that would recommend come for a drink as atmosphere is pretty good and can catch the sun outside. But forget the fish and chips....hopefully the other food is better. P.S. I demoted it to two star on second thoughts and I'm so unhappy with the food I'm writing it here in the bar. Not often I write there and then.
