    This place is terrible! For two drumsticks and chips and in the photo that’s all you get for $9. I have informed my work colleagues and family and friends about this place to be boycotted!, Wellington Water staff and Fulton Hogan staff in the Porirua yard and Hutt Vally Yard are to not come here ever!.

    I was my first time in this place and staff hadn't understood easily what i asked for and i'm only preferring vegetarian and got the pie from there but it was testless and hasn't good dining service there as at least, hasn't gave me plate to have food in better way, i just throw it out

    The nicest potato top savouries ! The potato is creamy and tasty and there’s plenty of mince filling with gravy. Thank you Had a corned beef sandwich, plenty of filling and relish. I personally am not a fan of that particular corned beef as I find it full of sinew, but the product was fresh and there’s plenty of filling for the price.

    A quintessential suburban New Zealand bakery, delicious pies and hearty servings of chicken and chips. I have maintained for at least sixteen years that the potato top pies here are the best I've ever had and was pleased to find that they have not yet let me down during a recent visit.

    Usually a queue. Lots of regulars. Very basic place where service style is a bit raw at times. Best aspect is the potato topped savouries and potato topped pies. Always hot and tasty. Chips quite good too. Good value. I sit in the Tawa Plaza and eat. Definitely not a gourmet eaterie but good for quickly killing hunger in a satisfying way.
