First time here and enjoying the coffee shop’s interior. We ordered 4x drinks which is quite okay but not the best. While still chilling and admiring, this guy right here has an UGLY ATTITUDE, VERY RUDE — he asked if we need a child seat which we happily declined as we thought he was concerned with the baby UNTIL HE SHOUTED BECAUSE THE TABLE IS FOR EATING! All customers heard it and it was very rude! I know we are at fault after he said that but it made me feel very small that he needed to shout at us. Other staff were okay and accommodating while he is the one that looks very busy and doesn’t even smile or say hi to customers! I COULD HAVE SHOUTED BACK but decided to put it out here. THERE’S A BETTER WAY OF SAYING IT WITHOUT MAKING YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL LOW.

First time at this location, arrived around 7.30pm for an evening coffee. The interior was very cosy and aesthetic and had plenty of seating and appeared very clean. There were a few customers at tables, but it was spacious enough you could comfortably hold a private conversation. I ordered a 12oz spiced chai latte and a hot chocolate, they came out in a timely manner. The chai latte was very foamy, hot and came with a side of caramel and milkshake lolly. It was very tasty and I enjoyed the spice very much. I was most impressed with the toilets, so spacious and clean and had a unique Pottery Barn vibe to it.

The food was delish and the iced chocolate was fab, but the service was disappointing, staff weren’t very friendly and one seemed happy to be there... the wifi was also terrible and you only get 30 minutes at a time and then after 2 or 3 sessions it blocks you out.. which isn’t ideal if your there work while enjoying a coffee. This is the first less than 5 star review I’ve given :( but if you’re going there just for food and drink it won’t let you down.

Recently got a chance to have breakfast at Coffee Culture Northlink and seriously I was amazed by their service. It was a Saturday morning and they were packed but the service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Loved their food and ambience

I stopped by Coffee Culture at lunchtime for a mocha latte, and it’s the best I’ve had so far in Christchurch! I’ve been hooked on mocha drinks ever since a tea-tasting ceremony in Japan, where I had the most unforgettable mocha. The mocha latte here had a well-balanced portion of tea powder, delivering a pure, smooth, and hearty taste—perfect for colder weather. However, the mocha powder didn’t fully dissolve, which was a bit disappointing—definitely could use a better tea whisk. The customer service was fantastic! The staff were super friendly, and I was especially impressed by the person taking orders—patient, welcoming, and greeting everyone with a warm smile. The café is also in a great spot, surrounded by a variety of stores, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to visit. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Most excellent! Stopped in for cake and a cuppa in the afternoon. Wonderful staff, lovely and clean facility, top rate cake and lovely cup of tea - all served promptly and with a smile. Thank you, we will definitely be back the next time we're in Christchurch.

One off the worst experience ever, I ordered a coffee and a muffin and noticed the muffin had a hair on it I showed this to the front staff asked for a replacement. The staff didn’t look happy, however they told they would replace it but in the end I was provided the same muffin with the hair removed and it was heated like a hot cake. Poor customer service and will never be going back there.

For a big chain, you would think everything would be on par with other Coffee Cultures. This is not so with this one. Staff were friendly enough, and the service was just ok, as was the coffee/tea. Really disappointed with the cleanness of this place. I understand that when it is busy, it is hard to stay on top of things. When you have multiple staff working, there should be a system to ensure that someone is at least cleaning tables and clearing them. When we arrived, it was a mess. Also, some parts of the café had not seen a broom or mop for some time. Do not serve customers chipped cups or tea pots. It is unsafe and unhygienic. Unless the standard of cleanness improves, I will not be returning there.

We had brunch here. It was very busy when we visited this place obviously because it was lunch time. We ordered a couple of things which had ‘Avocado’ in it, they said that they didn’t have Avocado or they had run out of it. Not their fault though. We ordered something else. The food was good, will try again to taste some other food options.
