   Not a good band tonight pausing for so long after every song not continuous music. Always come here and first time to get disappointed sorry but did not enjoy the band even the people beside us were saying music and band was bad that's why not many people on the dance floor.

   We went to Fat Eddie's in mid afternoon, on a Sunday. For a quiet drink and snack. (We chose the bacon,cheese loaded fries)! Service was very friendly and hospitable- Venue itself is quiet large on first floor of building! Appears only accessible by stairs from a side lane. Full of character and a collection of chalk board - sayings, signs and weird and wonderful pieces adorn the walls and ceiling( lampshades and musical instruments to name some!) We have gone past in the evenings and this place has been busy with rollicking music,guests and a rock an roll vibe to boost!

   Fay Eddie's is really good and always a good time. Live music good out side and inside area with space. How ever the staff cab let it down. Bouncers are actually really good most times I go there. But some of the bar staff can be rude. Last night when we were there and they closing the last song played and with in 30 seconds a guy just cane over to a girl I was with and screamed in her face and told her to get the F out. She wasn't from nz and was abit scared. When we got down multiple people were talking about this guy saying the same thing. Just absolutely not OK. Yes your closing but you can just tell people to leave Very disappointed

   Awesome bar in Christchurch!! Stayed here for hours having a great time. Locals were so friendly, drinks were reasonably priced and service was quick. Music is incredible, lots of live bands. Good for people of all ages who enjoy a fun and loud night out. I’ll be back.

   We had a great time here meeting locals and dancing to music with people of all ages. All types of bands and a lively place that fills up with people quickly. Good size dance floor and plenty of drink options to wet your whistle. So much fun!

   First time to fat Eddie's and it was a very pleasant experience, we found that the food for the price was very good with an excellent atmosphere ! The place was very well presented with amazing decor and a live singer that was a very nice experience as was unexpected, so over all I would highly recommend this fabulous restaurant in the ever expanding Christchurch ❤️
