I have just had the BEST leek & potato soup that I have ever tasted! Such friendly staff and nothing was a problem. It was presented to me nice and hot in a takeaway cup with a piece of yummy toasted french roll. Just perfect on a cold wintery day.

Very mixed feelings about this place. Kitchen staff were incredibly friendly, the older front of house staff member was rude with plenty "when we get to it" comments. The owner decided that the table next to us was a great spot to have an HR meeting with one of the staff members and by the sounds of it, she doesn't really appreciate people that work for her. The food was a mix of 'oh, that's quite nice' and 'what on earth is this'? There was six of us and we all got our food at very different times. My friend got served the worst croque monsieur I've seen in my life. I enquired about their gluten free options and warned them about my coeliacs disease - the owner said they have plenty GF options, including the crepes and that she has two daughters with coelicas, which made me really excited. I tried ordering with the FOH lady that was trying to convince me only their savory crepes can be gluten free despite the sweet ones having GF option next to them on the menu. When talking to the kitchen, they said the kitchen is not coeliac friendly at all. They really need to get on the same page as to what can and can't do. In no rush to go back.

I usually do not give a bad review BUT this was the worst place I think I have ever been to! It was 9am..the place was filthy. We had called and booked a table for 4..was told no problem. When we got there they told us they don't do bookings but could seat up in this odd other room to the side. It felt like the store room. It had flies everywhere the tables weren't stable the floors were filthy. When we got our food the cutlery was disgusting..the tea pot dirty...see pics. We had to ask for clean cutlery twice before we got some clean ones. By that time our meals were stone cold. I ordered French toast, it tasted like they had fried the bread a d poured syrup over it and added some just cooked pink bacon to my plate. On the up side..the coffee and eggs were good and the staff were very apologetic. But I will never eat there again! Food poisoning waiting to happen, be very careful..eat with caution.

Our first time here, absolutely blown away with how delicious these crepes are!!! I chose the cheese, mushrooms, potatoe and chive (usually with bacon) and asked for blue cheese instead - amazing!

Simple and delicious. Typical understated French simplicity, but delicious. We all enjoyed our breakfast /brunch and was just what we wanted. Between the 4 of us we had French toast, crepes and the big breakfast. Would go again, so I can have the French toast this time! Crepes and French toast had options of different fillings, coffees were perfect. Some cabinet good available too.
