“New World is very close to my house and the best place to go shopping to. It has food for years, has food for anything you’re looking to get. They have a good service, very easy shopping with the staff and clearly marked aisles. They have kind chatty staff and the staff can easily help you find what you’re looking for. They never run out of stock, so if what you’re looking for isn’t there, ask staff to get it. New World is definitely one of the greatest shopping markets in NZ.”

“Woolworths is a convenient one-stop shop for all my grocery needs. The stores are clean, well-organized, and usually well-stocked with a good variety of products. I especially appreciate the fresh produce section and the easy-to-use online shopping platform. Prices can sometimes be a bit higher than other stores, but the quality and service make up for it. A reliable supermarket for everyday essentials.”

Because they have staff that are abundant , available , friendly helpful & kind ... The specials are often far better value than the others . The policy of refund & replacement is seldom called upon but when it is the result is immediate which insures customer satisfaction . The wheelchair one may borrow suits this old biker who enjoys visiting his friends that are friends”

“If you’re after great coffee and a huge variety of cabinet choices, this is the place to be! From sandwiches, to salads, savoury, sweet desserts etc. There is also a menu you can order from and the place is often bustling so best to book if you have a few going.”

“Unlike other New World which mainly count on appearance to seem a place selling good food, like the new one in city centre, this one is genuinely a good place. Food here is better than in other New Worlds and it is more likeable. Do not expect too much from butcher and fishery, but still better than others for sure. Recommend.”

“Located closer to City Center, this Indian grocery store in one of the biggest I have seen so far in Christchurch. The store has all the grocery essential one needs. Along with utensils and veggies. Plenty of Parking spaces and off street parking. Must visit for all the Indian or any Asian looks for species”

“I phoned Mill street on Saturday morning,a woman from Seafood put me through to meat department. I had 5 chicken carcuses saved for me. “Good experience today. Bought bagels last night and got home to find a small spot of mould even though they were perfectly in date. Took them back today no receipt but could tell them what time I purchased, I assume they checked cctv/logs, but they replaced with no drama and even gave me a second batch free. Well done New World”
