   We had lunch Bacon and egg and quiche plus sweet. The quiche was not cooked and raw. I took it back to the counter.They offered to reheat it but my wife was totally put off. No.offer of money back. Disappointing.

   Food's okay but terrible customer service from sour-faced often nasty women serving at counter. I also had an experience like blueberry muffin lady. She was so offensive and spiteful my husband and I haven't returned in six months! You shouldn't be working in hospitality if you can't be hospitable. They have almost always omitted either a food or drink item off our order. Pity as this cafe used to be the best with previous owners and staff

   Stopped in on Mother's day. There is a children's play area at the back. Outside seating as well. Good range of cabinet food and menu. I had a slice of chicken, bacon and Mushrooms pie with salad. Very good. Other family members chose salmon quiche and bacon and tomatoes quiche both served with side salad. They were also happy with there choices. Easy parking area at cafe and across the road.

   I am the lady with the Blueberry Muffin, buttered, not heated. Lovely service from the young lady on the counter, and the muffin was delicious! Lots of fresh, juicy blueberries, and evenly distributed. BUT….. to the sour faced lady that “buttered” my muffin. That is not buttered!! That is a slab of butter, shoved in the top of the muffin in a big blob! Is that my punishment for asking for confirmation that this is how I wanted it? It was only the fact that it was pouring with rain that prevented me from coming back, and showing you how to actually butter a muffin properly. The couple behind me were also bemused at your sarcastic comment that it was “okay to confirm that’s what you want”. I think that might be the last time I stop there, which is a shame, as I used to tell people what a lovely wee place it was. PS….. I can still give you a buttering lesson if you like.
