   Went into woolworths Mosgiel to buy a $250 food voucher for our son. Having told the girl what he wanted she said they don't sell vouchers of $250 but pointed to a voucher display and said my husband could pick up 2 100s and a 50 which he did and paid for them at the check out. Turns out when I went to send them they are Noel Leeming vouchers. Went back to Mosgiel expecting a refund and was told they sell the vouchers and the money is with Noel Leeming. Go to Noel Leeming in Dunedin who tell us it's a third part gift card and they cannot help with a refund. Phone up the gift card people who said they don't do refunds and go back to the retailer where we bought it. By this time I'm really angry and gave the manager at Mosgiel a piece of my mind for being unhelpful Their mistake for not giving my husband what he clearly said he wanted. I used some bad language which he seemed more concerned about. Heads up Matt, you can't buy groceries with a noel Leeming voucher. Your error in customer service. That's about 23% of my weeks pension gone on a useless set of vouchers for which I can get no refund. Shame on you Mosgiel woolworths for bad service, zero accountability and Matt , I hope Santa brings you a moral compass this year. According to him this is all our fault.

   I come here often. Customer service minimal until checkouts. Teach your staff to greet and talk to customers. I can pass staff talking to each other but ignoring customers.

   The lady with short blonde hair that was on Sunday evening around 5pm was amazing her customer service was 10/10! Shopping with a 5year old isn't always easy but Sunday evening was a breeze thanks to that lovely lady my not so little boy really appreciated her kind gesture while trying to use self checkouts .

   The click and collect staff must be poorly trained incompetent or they simply don't care, possibly all of the above. Every month we are charged for items not supplied. We are charged for instance 350 grams of mushrooms supplied 200 grams, so be weary if you shop here check your invoice every single time. Staff unhelpful uncaring and not customer focused when you bring a legitimate complaint on behalf of their mistakes.

   I've used this branch of Countdown for the best part of 2 years and it has to be the best outlet in New Zealand..I mainly use home deliveries but have done some personal shopping in the past but the staff are absolutely fabulous and so down to earth friendly and helpful and the delivery drivers are second to none. Miss you Zita but your team of 3 have taken the helm and are doing an absolutely tremendous job and you are all literally lifesavers. God bless you all from the managers but especially the girls on the checkout, the food pickers and the delivery drivers, your all HEROES !! xo

   Not much range. I have very bad experience with their staff and delivery always got wrong items, rotten or missing. Even they have been trying to fixed it, still not got them done right. When to the shop to swap the rotten food. One of their staff abused us. We will not go back and stop shopping with them. Let the our paid delivery go to waste. The manager tried to sort out with this staff but never heard back since.

   Amazing store, amazing staff Even new staff under training get to know regular customer preferences and in general they way the staff treat you is the best I've seen at any supermarket anywhere. Always clean and tidy and always has an atmosphere of welcome and efficiency. What I like the most is the age range of staff.
