“PRECINCT cafe at Otago Museum is my regular place to catch up with colleagues and friends over coffee. Today, I had jasmine lime tea, which was incredibly refreshing and organic, instead of a tea bag. I love their gluten-free carrot cake. The staff were attentive and friendly as usual and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Overall, Precinct Café offers an exceptional dining/coffee experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Dunedin.”

“This is where I go for the spices the supermarket no longer stocks. For me, in particular, mace for my plum sauce recipe. But they stock a lot of indian foods and haberdashery from india. That includes incense, individual spices for cooking your own ethnic food. If you're Indian or from the middle east, and in Dunedin, drop by. The proprietor is a lovely guy and you just pat your heart by way of greeting if you don't have the language.”

“Matariki weekend .....eggpuff buddy down by wharf ......waited way too long but if you don't mind waiting 30mins then go for it ...very yummy”
“1000% My new favourite place to eat... Staff is very friendly and the Kim Jong Un colouring pictures were very satisfying to use. Loved the atmosphere/aesthetic of the place. Not many restaurants go for a "Decrepit Dungeon" sort of feel but I like the change :) Another awesome feature which separates the experience of Chen's Food Court from other boring restaurants is the wide variety of meals. My personal favourite meal is the "Mystery Meat", though there are also options for vegetarians such as "Fresh Moss" or "Black Mold". Overall, definitely a 10/10 dining experience and you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be eating here again!”
“Had an absolutely delicious pie and they also have lots of sauces and preserves and great gift ideas for the kitchen. Bought a couple of gorgeous tea towels.”

“Had a Chicken Satay pie, full of flavor, lots of filling, tasted great and so was the service.”
“Great variety of products and customer service!”
“Fantastic on so many levels. I tried their coffee once a while ago and enjoyed the friendly chat. I also admire how hard working these 2 Peas in a Pod are! Saving lives by the means of a warm cup of coffee at 5:00 AM is superb!”
“Absolutely beautiful coffee! Delightful little shop. Jared is very down to earth and great to have a chat too over way too may coffee's lol”
“Great butcher here, the old fashioned type with personality plus! Im looking forward to cooking with the 5 different meats I purchased including PROPER looking sausages not just ground meat and rusk filled cases. A huge range of assorted condiments on sale too.”
“Paul has been super helpful every time I have visited! I love to cook but have limited knowledge on wine pairings, so his expertise really helps put dinner together nicely - regardless of price. P.S. If MY wife asks, they're all $20 per bottle too”
“Well worth dropping in, great range foods, local produce and whole foods. Breads, cheese, spreads, sauces, rubs plus much more. Plus great ice creams and range of drinks.”
“Great coffee and service - can't beat it!”
“Such a cute little cafe, all vegan. I got the mac n cheese burrito with gherkins and a custard creme doughnut, my partner got the jalapeno cheese rolls and a biscoff cookie- all were so so tasty and affordable. If we lived in Dunedin, we would be here every lunch break. Plus free coffee (with orders over $10) Server is also so lovely, would highly recommend”
“One of the best coffee places I’ve been to in terms of quality. The peanut butter was also great and so fun to talk to the workers and owner!”
“Excellent selection of dry goods as well as meat. Steak and cheese pie was quite good and very fair price for a nice section of chuck roast.”
“I highly recommend these guys, food is delicious and it can really take the pressure off needing to cook a mid week meal!”
