   I've stayed at this motel three times over the past year for different occasions, and it's been a consistently good experience. The place is older but very clean and well-maintained. Rooms are well-equipped with everything you need, making it a comfortable and convenient stay. It’s also a great value for the money. The owners are friendly and accommodating, always making you feel welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back.

   We recently stayed in the Two Bedroom Spa unit. On the first night, the first member had a shower and used the spa bath — there was plenty of hot water at that point. But when the second person went to have a shower shortly after, there was no hot water left at all. I gave the property manager a call, and was told that we had used up too much hot water, and would need to wait until the next morning for it to heat up again. I have to say, we were quite surprised by this. It was never mentioned to us that the hot water supply was limited, and for a unit that accommodates four people, we really didn’t expect to run out of hot water after just one person had a proper bath. It was a cold winter night, and not being able to take a warm shower was quite unpleasant. We were genuinely disappointed, and unfortunately, this has affected how we feel about the stay overall.

   I arrived on the second day under the new owners, so they are still settling in. Despite this, the service I received was exceptional. The room was spotless and well-maintained. As an older guest, I did have some concerns about the bath spa and shower setup, as well as the steepness of the driveway—these are aspects I might have reconsidered if I had booked directly, but it was arranged through a service. What I absolutely loved was Alexis' central location—perfectly positioned for everything: town, cafes, the university, and more. Highly recommended!

   Very good central location. Tidy room, no complaints or concerns. We arrived on a cold day and it was a nice touch to discover the room was warm with the heater already on. Property is on a steep hillside, so may present some challenges for those with mobility issues. A very pleasant stay.

   Great location, clean rooms, great service. We’ve been traveling in NZ for the Women’s World Cup and this stay was our favorite. The room was spotless upon arrival. Robyn was very accommodating with our late arrival, and recommended a lot of activities. This location has great walkability and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

   I have been travelling to Dunedin for work every couple of months for over a year now, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The location is great, especially with the best breakfast in town just across the street. I've stayed in a variety of rooms and they have all been clean, warm and comfortable. On top of that, the service you get from Robyn and co is just fantastic. So friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended!
