Hosts were friendly from the moment we arrived, rooms were warm and comfortable and suitable for guests in wheelchairs. Property is situated in a convenient location, close to all local amenities. Thank you for having us!
I highly recommend the Garden Motel, not only for the good room, which is a lovely size, has everything you need. But the service we received from Bonnie was fantastic. She goes above and beyond with the service and assistance she gives. She could not do enough for us. Thank you, Bonnie, for really making our stay with you, so wonderful.
This small motel was perfect for our needs. The staff were so kind and helpful. We couldn't arrive in reception hours but they were super okay with sorting it. The room was neat and had everything we needed. Heater was wonderful and we could adjust temperature easily. It was the cleanest basic motel we have stayed in when we have visited Dunedin. WiFi was a bit on and off in our room. Location was excellent. An easy flat walk into main area of town if you like to walk or a quick drive. Dairy's close. Off street parking, some spots better than others. Loved the kitchenette. (Airfryer was great). Everything you need. Laundry available. Wished we could of stayed longer. Thanks for the lovely stay.
Was woken during the night to a down pour of water dripping onto my bed. It continued to pour onto my bed for the rest of my stay and I was never offered a bucket or an apology.. The tumble dryer is $4 to use and it half dries your laundry.
So clean, free parking, spacious room, coffee and tea offering was lovely and kitchen area was well equipped and very clean! Comfortable bed. Great stay!
We stayed in a Large Studio. The heating in the room was excellent. The location is walking distance to fast food in North Dunedin and a short drive to the city centre. Everything was clean. Baby cot was free. Good guest laundry facilities - only $2 for wash and dry each. The room was a bit small, fitting 2.5 luggages and a baby cot was tight.
Friendly staff and well presented unit. Looked nice and clean until my baby went exploring and found pistachio nuts and shells under a chair and we got bitten alive by what could have been bed bugs or carpet mites. But overall its great that it's apart of transitional housing for homeless families and we enjoyed our stay.
