Was a lot nicer as a motel. Is now an apartment building owned by a company who has apartments throughout the city .
Lovely room in a quiet suburb. Rooms have a nice outlook and firm bed. Ideal if you have a car but don't be put off if you enjoy walking as there's a nice bush track if you can handle 15 mins uphill on the way back.
We arrived late, David and Brenda had made the room warm for us when we arrived which is a 10/10 for us as we have a 3yr old. The room was clean and comfortable . We will definitely come back here again. Highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful stay here. David was very helpful and friendly - even organising us a last minute airport shuttle to save us approx $70! The room was perfectly clean, beds and pillows comfortable and shower had good pressure. I wish we had longer than 1 night here.
We were looking for a place to stay for a few nights in Dunedin which was both reasonably priced and had free and secure parking, and this definitely exceeded our expectations. Very clean and smart rooms with the comfiest beds and bedding, great shower and useful kitchenette (equipped with kettle, microwave, toaster, mini fridge). Staff were lovely too. 20+ minute walk to centre which we did do on occasion, though mainly drove to be honest as plenty of parking around.
It's a nice motel set in a residential area. Very private, quiet and clean. Lovely landscaping, very nice proprietor. The room has been updated, but bath and kitchenette have not. That's the only reason not to give 5 stars, but would definitely come again! There's several routes to get up here. Google takes a strange one. You can walk down to the city center if you don't mind walking back uphill. We are pretty fit so it wasn't hard to us.
Excellent motel and my new first choice of somewhere to stay in Dunedin. The room was clean, stylish and warm. It's a pleasant walk through a nature reserve to the city and the views from the neighbourhood are spectacular. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I would absolutely stay here again.
