   The room itself was amazing — heated bathrooms, a super comfy bed, and an overall great setup. Unfortunately, the entire experience was overshadowed by the owner’s behaviour. Five minutes before check-out, he knocked on our door to remind us that it was “nearly 10am” and time to leave. We were already packing and about to walk out, so this felt completely unnecessary and incredibly rude. What made it worse was that he knocked twice within 30 seconds and even put his key in the door as if he was about to enter. I was lucky my husband answered while I was getting dressed — if I had been travelling alone, this would have been extremely uncomfortable and honestly quite frightening. In all my years of travelling, I’ve never experienced anything like being rushed out when we weren’t even late. It left a very bad impression. Such poor customer service — deeply disappointing. Female travellers, please be cautious. Make sure you use the chain lock or block the door. His behaviour felt vile, inappropriate, and genuinely creepy.

   Great motel. Huge room and nicely insulated. Warm. Huge bathroom. Bring your own slipper as the tiles are pretty cold at kitchen area. Other areas are carpeted. Comfortable stay. Be careful if you are cooking with the odour. Ensure no strong odour else you will charge one night stay if they cannot get rid of it. Reception is nice and parking is aplenty. There is a lift for upper floor. Wheelchair friendly.

   The staff were lovely. The rooms modern, freshly renovated and clean. We had a unit with street frontage and didn't find the road noise to be any issue. The beds were very comfortable but a little frustrating that the single beds were in the lounge and the king sized in the bedroom, this made night times with children a bit harder.

   Only 3 blocks to town on the level. We had upstairs unit, nice and quiet. Decor smart and in very good condition very smart. Comfy bed. Bathroom great. Good cooking facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. A lift to take you to the 1st floor. Manager made us feel very welcome upon arrival and we had off street parking. I wold stay again. Cafe next door makes excellent coffee and cinnamon scrolls and pies. Other food also looked good.

   Could not fault, brilliant location, very clean and the best motel in Dunedin. Booked two rooms travelling with family over 2 nights, and loved it. Very nice cafe next door to motel and only minutes to a row of restaurants. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone.

   Very clean, well-appointed. Everything I needed. Only slight downside was that there was no aircon but there was a fan in the room and that did the job. Good location, onsite parking and restaurants very close.

   Very well presented Motel in a great location. This is our “go to” accommodation when in Dunedin. Always impeccably clean and well presented. I stay in motels up and down the country and this motel is as good as any I have stayed in at this price point. See you next time !
