   We stayed at Beach Lodge Motel for two nights and had a really lovely experience. The unit was spacious, clean, and very comfortable - especially the beds, which made for a great night’s sleep. The location was also convenient and quiet near the beach, making it easy to relax after a full day of exploring Dunedin. The only downsides were that the bathroom felt a little dated and could use a renovation, and the main bedroom had a stained-glass window with no blinds, so the early morning sun came straight in and woke us up. Apart from those small issues, everything else was great, and the service was warm and friendly. We’d still happily recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Dunedin.

   This was a disappointment. There were plenty of beds, two or three packed into each room. Our bed was like a hammock it was so worn in the center. When we mentioned it to the male manager he asked "Did you try any of the other beds?" One shower and toilet for the entire three bedroom accommodation. Both of which were about a meter square in size each. One heater for the entire space located at one end of the living room. Let's just say, we stayed one of two nights booked. No willingness to refund or split the second day. If you're going to stay just be aware, it is what it is. Just arrive with low expectations and you'll be fine.

   The motel location was great, on a good day, you could access the beach. The motel rooms are nice and spacious, and the evening meals (catering) went down well. The motel also had good laundry facilities. Anouk and Jared were great hosts, and nothing was a problem. Highly recommended

   Lovely spacious room. Incredibly comfortable king bed. The location is absolutely ideal, close to the beach and local restaurants. The staff are very helpful and polite. Clean room at a great price. Just what we needed to feel comfortable. I will be back again. Thank.you for a wonderful stay.

   This place was a lovely surprise. It's a little dated on the outside but the rooms have been refurbished nicely to be quite comfortable and bright. The one BR unit we had was exceptionally clean, warm and cosy. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great stay. The location can't be beat. Walking distance to St Kilda beach and close to St Claire as well. Most important, we were around the corner from Pirates squash club. The owners were also extremely helpful and kind. Looking forward to staying here again next time we're in Dunedin.

   Debbie was great, friendly and helpful. Happy to solve a last minute change in dates. Rooms were clean and warm. Close to everything, beach, cafes, shops and the city. Great baae for day trips. Will return on my next Dunedin adventure.

   Fog and an Air NZ cancellation combined to keep us one night more than we expected in Dunedin. So got this accommodation at short notice (thank you Debbie). A very warm, comfortable stay (important for Nth Islanders visiting in June!). Recommend it! PS Great fish and chips (and oysters) shop across the road, too.

   We booked a 2 bed unit. Debbie is an amazing host and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The unit was a little dated but freshly painted and clean and the beds we’re comfortable. The heat pump kept the rooms cozy. Very reasonably priced.

   We had a great stay and our host was wonderful. The room was warm and clean and my bed was SO comfortable. Thank you! The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the loud fans in the bathroom and kitchen. I was just extra conscious of them because I was staying with friends.

   Debbie is wonderful! We came as a group and booked 6 units. She made it so easy for us. Has a park nearby for kids and walking distance to shops. Great location to stay. Will be booking again!
