We stayed in the three bedroom family apartment. Although quite dated this was fit for purpose and good value for a large family group. A group of seven, we each received a complimentary drink voucher for 'Nellies' next door. Comfortable beds, a good heat pump and a nice seated courtyard and parking spaces make this a good option for travellers.
Staff are great, and the price was too. We stayed in room 1 (a double room) in the older units close to the road. Net curtains were rotten. The carpet is the only thing stopping you going through a hole in the floor! Noisy, dilapidated and not clean. Creamy slime along bottom of shower door, food scraps in sink, crumbs around table and stains on the toilet wall all suggest that the cleaning either hadn't been done or done properly. Manager was prompt in sorting and cleaned while we were out, however when we returned in the evening our door was unlocked. To be fair you won't get cheaper accommodation than this so you do have to lower expectations when in this price bracket. That said I don't think holes in floor etc is acceptable in any price bracket.
Staff always good to deal with. Helpful and easy going, yet efficient. The unit was comfortable and warm.Modernised and pleasing to the eye.
Stayed here two nights this trip! Rooms are good. Service at the pub is great too!!
Beds need updating. Warm. Excellent hot water in the shower. All the utensils in the kitchen good. No backdoor key incase of emergency. Good parking. Quiet after patrons leave gravel carpark by the room. Good price for two bedroom unit. Good amount of bedding. Take your own pillow if you are picky. Curtains block out most light.

Great service from the team here, rooms were spacious and looked like they've been refreshed recently. The food from the attached bar and restaurant was excellent. With the option of having it delivered to your room. I'll be back.
Big soft spots in floors. Only the carpet stops you going through. Broken blinds didn't help. Bar and restaurant are great. Great staff and beautiful food.
