“This place is wonderful, such a good range, you can spend hours going through everything. Found my favourite vegan drumsticks and vegetarian belecan which I use for homemade sambal. Staff were super helpful and had good suggestions when I approached them. I love the feel of the place, might not be to everyones taste but for me it's as it should be.”

“One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had in Chch, the hash cake was very good. It was good that they serve it with relish a lot of places never provide a sauce option. The only downside is the service was less than desirable, I found the staff to be vacant and rude and the servers to be unfriendly which I wasn't happy about. Very lucky the chef is keeping this review 5/5 instead of 3-4/5.”

But one thing in Four Square Darfield for me is the best compared to all of them: Their locally made bakery foods. Hands down to whomever you are who made them,. Also the toilets are really clean, to think that the cafe is busy, and,and, and,(yes 3 "ands")because they've got 3 bathrooms! With exclamation point! They've got 3 clean toilets! Normally cafe's have only one right? But they've got 3 and it's a big deal for me because I've got 2 kids 6&4 where they tell you that they need to go the toilet when it's almost too late (mom's will know what i mean). Therefore I highly recommend this to all mom's out there who just want to go out once in a while and have a simple coffee.”
