“Great drinks, berry smoothie was the best. Breakfast was very good, eggs poached perfectly and the best tomato sauce I've had in ages. Excellent service, all staff were helpful, prompt and made me feel welcome. A few other cafes in Christchurch could learn a lot from these guys. Will definitely be back.”

“Reading books while having coffee? What's not to love? I ordered mocha and it was lovely. Also the toilets are really clean, to think that the cafe is busy, and,and, and,(yes 3 "ands")because they've got 3 bathrooms! With exclamation point! They've got 3 clean toilets! Normally cafe's have only one right? But they've got 3 and it's a big deal for me because I've got 2 kids 6&4 where they tell you that they need to go the toilet when it's almost too late (mom's will know what i mean). Therefore I highly recommend this to all mom's out there who just want to go out once in a while and have a simple coffee.”

“I’ve been here once. It has peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Beer and food are very nice. The price is makesense, not too expensive. Service is very good. The bush inn Tavern have a lot of events such as pool. Overall i think it realy nice.”

“All the staff here are amazing, it's almost genetic, because from the father to the mother, to the children, to other family members like Sid, this whanau is so patient, kind, respectful, hard working and helpful. Everyone could learn alot from this family. I have a standing order or Incense sticks that I couldn't go without. The other day Sid spent his time and effort to search the shop to find this item for me. I was not amazed by the service, because this is how they roll, but I was once again, so grateful for the amazing service here. They remind you that humans are kind. Thank you all, and Sid.”

“This place is wonderful, such a good range, you can spend hours going through everything. Found my favourite vegan drumsticks and vegetarian belecan which I use for homemade sambal. Staff were super helpful and had good suggestions when I approached them. I love the feel of the place, might not be to everyones taste but for me it's as it should be.”

“Enjoyed our dinner tonight as we were served chicken and lamb biryani, tandoori chicken with kofta, curry and naan bread. Defaintly recommend this resturant, with their beautiful authentic biryani and service was also lovely. Defaintly missing out if you haven't tried this before.”

“One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had in Chch, the hash cake was very good. It was good that they serve it with relish a lot of places never provide a sauce option. The only downside is the service was less than desirable, I found the staff to be vacant and rude and the servers to be unfriendly which I wasn't happy about. Very lucky the chef is keeping this review 5/5 instead of 3-4/5.”
