   Gem off the usual tourist stops. Had a coffee stop and toilet break on way to Akaroa Lighthouse from Christchurch. Clean and tidy facilities with art painting for sale. Came back for late lunch of Fish & Chips at 230 pm after our one hour Alpacas Farm Tour starting at 1 pm to 2 pm . High tide had by then covered the bay shores. Great ambience and retro cafe and bar. Outdoor seating with a great view of the bay.

   Awesome spot with very affordable food for dine in or takeaway. Fully licensed bar. Loads of indoor/outdoor seating with a great view from the deck. Has the local store attached. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend!!!

   Lovely outdoor seating with blue red and white umbrellas. Makes you almost feel like you are in France although you have to use your imagination. Would be great to have some larger trees in potplants as there is room for it. I've had better coffee. Manager admitted it needed a clean. But the art is lovely inside. It is an up and coming place! God bless.

   It was my first time here and I have to admit I was disappointed. I ordered a Thai latte and it was nothing like it and it was way too sweet. The saving grace was a scone we brought and it took the bad taste of the drink I got. Would I go again I'm not sure as it may have been a one off thing but will only find out if I try there again.

   We have been on NZ for 5 weeks. We popped in for a beer and Intended to eat. This is the first place we did not feel welcome. So we walked another 600 metres to the motel and met a lot of friendly people. It had the feel of a locals bar.
