We had eggs florantine, the potato home made hash was a little over cooked, other than that was nice. The coffee was nice and hot
Best eggs Florentine with bacon.. love the housemade hashbrowns. Great coffee and loads of seating space with different atmospheres. Would be great for functions
I enjoyed my experience at Flat white Cafe bar. It has two nice spacious areas to sit down. Full of plants which adds to the space. Had wedges and hot chocolate, no complaints with food and service. Hospitality is impeccable, staff were kind and polite. It also has a small library and seats are comfortable, good place to sit and work also.
I really wish I could rate this higher - unfortunately every time we come we are hoping for better, and every time we are let down. Service is incredibly slow and always has been. The staff are nice but they need better training and systems. It took 45 mins to pay and then receive a coffee and iced chocolate, with cabinet food that needed no preparation. It’s not a cheap coffee either, so I expect a little better… receiving a dirty cup that needed to be sent back is not at a level that matches the price. Waitress was very apologetic and nice to us, unfortunately that’s not enough to make me want to come back. Hoping they can take this note constructively and make some improvements.
Had egg florentine with extra salmon & flat white for breakfast. They were okay but it might be pricey for some. Other than that, I enjoyed how the ladies singing along while working. That was nice.
Coffee is good. Waffle not so nice. They don’t even bother to peel the kiwi fruit. Too much syrup waffle is soaking in the syrup. Next time should ask separate syrup.
Reading books while having coffee? What's not to love? I ordered mocha and it was lovely. Also the toilets are really clean, to think that the cafe is busy, and,and, and,(yes 3 "ands")because they've got 3 bathrooms! With exclamation point! They've got 3 clean toilets! Normally cafe's have only one right? But they've got 3 and it's a big deal for me because I've got 2 kids 6&4 where they tell you that they need to go the toilet when it's almost too late (mom's will know what i mean). Therefore I highly recommend this to all mom's out there who just want to go out once in a while and have a simple coffee.
