   After moving to christchurch, I awaited 9 months to try the roast meal. The anticipation was imense. Having had the ramen before trying this, and the ramen was 10/10. Now all I can say is, this is the most disapointing "roast" of my life. Going by the images of the menu item, and the description. Where is the meal? A 1/4 chicken? You mean a drum with some dangly skin? Potatoes?...a single potatoe cut into 6 small peices? I feel ripped off. Disapointed. Disgusted. And frankly lied too. $25 for a whole meal for an adult? My 2 year old neice would eat all this and still be hungry. Honestly..I want my money back. I shoud have refused the meal and asked for cash back in hand at the time, but being far too busy and not wanting to cause a scene. I will be giving negative recomendations to all my contacts, friends, family, co workers. This is a very disapointing result. Sincerly. No potatoe in sight.

   I walked into Riverside keen to try something new and saw that Cluck Cluck had a “nachos meat on chips” dish. I went up to order and already felt a bit unwelcome at the counter, which wasn’t a great start. When I got my food, I opened the container and honestly felt catfished. I paid $25 for the most beige, unappetising meal I’ve ever seen. The gravy looked questionable, the chicken didn’t look edible, and the chips were completely soggy. I’m not someone who usually complains about food, but this was actually shocking, especially knowing I could’ve gone to the Mexican place at riverside and paid less for something that would’ve actually impressed and satisfied me. Really disappointed.

   Honestly the best ramen I’ve ever had, maybe even better than ramen I had in Japan! I’ve never had to wait more than 3mins for a bowl. Great service every time and I’m always so impressed that they’re able to produce consistent and high quality food in such a short amount of time. One of the staff kindly gave me a small pot of chilli paste so I could add spice to my liking. Will always come here when I’m overnighting in Christchurch :)

   The quarter chicken and pork belly in the roast platter for one were amazing with no signs of dryness and with deep flavour, but equally of note were the gravy and potatoes. It is a wonderful meal for the price.

   The ramen looks legit and the flavour isn’t that bad, but overall not one of the best ramen’s I’ve had. The soup did get a little tiresome at the end which means it’s not as delicious as it could be, and the meat was ok without being super tender and delicious. Good to get a fix but not to make me come back for more.

   As I approached Cluck Cluck Slurp I was a little nervous. I was nervous that they had a massive queue, I was nervous on the wait, and I was nervous if it would live up to my high expectations. As I ordered I seen the other orders flying out. Shortly after ordering mine came out so considering how busy they were it was really fast. As for living up to my expectations it did that and more. Beautiful broth, perfectly cooked pork and a balance of flavours that meant together my mouth was salivating with every bite yet I could taste every individual ingredient. Simple food with quality ingredients is always good but this was also complex at the same time. Well done for bringing such awesome food to the city and making my Saturday lunch a meal to remember. I will be back!!!

   First time trying the junky ramen! I have been curious of this ramen because it is soupless, with egg (by the way I added extra egg in my order), and with kimchi. I have made my expectation low so not to be disappointed but was surprised! The taste blended and matches… it is a junky ( my own definition of junky! Lol! ) would definitely order it again in the future.

   Ive had a love affair with their chicken sandwich! It's like the sandwich was made for me. The crispy chicken, the soft bun, the tangy sauce...it's a match made in sandwich heaven! Would totally recommend to anyone!

   Ordered the meal for two The Asian lady who’s in charge of meat craving on 14 May during lunch time gave us the wrong portion of chicken and claimed it was correct. Didn’t even double checked when we asked her to confirm.. The chicken supposed to be half not quarter. They only gave us the correct portion after we complained several times Food was nice but their customer service was very unpleasant. Anyone who’s ready to order please be mindful in case they scammed you.
