“I will try to leave the most honest opinion possible for future travelers. after having stayed in many hostels in Auckland Hit Hostel is definitely the hostel where I felt the best.. There are inevitably things that can be unpleasant like the fact of not having windows in the rooms, but the spaces common areas completely fill this gap because they make us feel like we are in a large shared accommodation/ Flat where it is easy to meet people because it is a small hostel. the staff and the types of travelers who stay there are great. The staff do their utmost to keep the place clean even if unfortunately the cleanliness of a hostel also depends on the cleanliness of the travelers staying there at a given time and these are factors that we cannot control.. In any case price/quality ratio Hit hostel is the best you can find.”

“Maison Blanc Lodge is an experience not to be missed. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. The Chef Ron was so talented and delivered an incredible array of delectable meals for both breakfast and dinner. The location is tranquil and always changing. I saw the fattest woodpigeon I had ever seen, and they literally fly over your head. The view at night is gorgeous. Loved the swim spa. The decor is so interesting, and the bedding was very comfortable. The fire that was lit for us each night and was certainly romantic and added ambience to the whole experience. I can highly recommend staying at Maison Blanc Lodge. Thank you Neilio & Ron. It was just what we needed.”

“Wags n Woofs is so great, our dog Kodi absolutely loves his time at daycare with Chris and Morgan and they are clearly awesome with the dogs as he is always so excited to see Chris at pickup and doesn’t want to leave him when he gets dropped off! The door to door service is brilliant, and they are very reliable and punctual.”

They possess a common sense balance between affection and responsible discipline, socialising, exercising, playing and relaxing in the right atmosphere tailored especially for your pooch. Our dogs journeyed 30,000km from Spain and arrived at their happy place here. I can't thank Tanja, Mark, their family and team enough for their attentive, kind and competent support. “We checked in late, however, Sam the Manager presented the key to our room showing how to use it. He was very helpful to us in providing a lot of information. Next day, he upgraded our room to a very nice double bed serviced apartment 2E with a nearly new washing machine , dryer, dish washer and mini fridge. The sleep quality was great. The apartment is very clean with clean sheets and towels. There was no mould or insects anywhere. The Heat pump was great and noiseless. The Hotel is located close to everything in the CBD, especially, Sky Tower, Queen st, Auckland ferry terminal and Bus Terminal to go to the Airport. There is a carpark in the ground floor ($25 per night). The Housekeeping staff were amazing, changing sheets and towels every second day. We loved staying here for 2 nights and will stay again in the future.”

“The location is excellent to access all of the cbd, and especially the ferry terminal which was all of a 5 minute walk. We arrived very early before check in but the receptionist sorted us out with a clean room straight away, which was an absolute god send after 2 days of travelling. The room was good, maybe a little tired but the air conditioning worked perfectly, the shower was good, the room was clean, and the balcony was great for drying off wet bits of clothing!”

“For 135 a night, this place was very nice. Room was clean and spacious for what we needed, the beds were comfortable. We had a good rest before our early morning flight, only a short drive to the airport from here. Would definitely recommend.”
