Don't expect to get any sleep here. Extremely loud club across the road that blasts music outside into the early hours of the morning.
Unfortunately the age of the building makes it such that the windows do a lousy job at stopping noise, so the loud traffic turns into loud late night music turns into loud drunk partiers and then turns into loud recycling and rubbish clean up. May not be an optimal choice for light sleepers.
Dated apartments - in need of significant upgrades. Very noisy - music to 1am and 3am, followed by bottles being poured from bins into trucks (or similar). Apartment cleanish but dirty light switches, light fittings missing face plates, rusty air conditioning unit (see photos). No sound proofing. Could not believe there was no room servicing on a Sunday!!!! This was not advised. Do not stay if you wish to have a relaxed stay. Overall poor experience.
In August this year, I returned to Auckland and chose a hotel near the city center, UOA, and Grafton Bridge. My basic needs were a kitchen, washer and dryer, stable hot water, free WiFi, and cleaning service, so I picked Quest Auckland Serviced Apartments (363 Queen Street, Auckland Central). Experience summary: 1. Initially stayed on the 14th floor where water pressure was low, making showering difficult; also, there was no dining table or chairs, which was inconvenient. 2. Later moved to the 8th floor, fixing the water pressure and dining table issues, but the kitchen was small, so I had to carry dishes to the dining table to cook. Facilities and service: - Free WiFi with decent speed. - Daily cleaning (except Sundays) by very friendly staff who promptly provided any missing items when requested—really commendable. Environment and location: - The balcony has a wide open view facing a lush green park, offering a refreshing natural atmosphere. - Location is excellent—just left from the lobby is Queen Street with easy access to Woolworths and New World Metro supermarkets for shopping. - About a 15-minute walk to UOA and Grafton Bridge, perfectly fitting my trip needs.
What a beautiful hidden apartment right in the heart of Akld city. From welcoming, friendly, and helpful hosts on check-in and throughout the duration of my stay. Location is perfect for restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, and movies, all within walking distance. Highlight a night stroll down Queen St to the Viaduct. Returning to my room overlooking Myers Park and the Sky tower from my balcony. Great price , quality room and service. Will definitely be used again.
Stayed here twice, both times the rooms have been well maintained, with good facilities. Staff were friendly, parking on site is quite tight for any bigger cars and it can fill up pretty quickly. 10 minute walk to lots of shops.
Brie is I one of the best hospitality staff I've ever met, she is very helpful soft spoken & knowledgeable. Even Billie & Greig outstanding, very helpful. Recommend to everyone!
As a visitor arriving late in Auckland from overseas, the staff went out of their way to make my arrival smooth. Great location—close enough to restaurants if you don't mind the walk up Queen Street.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Quest Auckland Serviced Apartments Hotel over the Christmas holiday, and we were blown away by the amazing service and amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was top-notch. We couldn't believe the number of amenities that were included, especially given the affordable pricing. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do in Auckland. But what really stood out to us was the exceptional service we received from the staff, particularly Dimple. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed, including scheduling an early morning cab to the hotel for our next destination. Overall, I highly recommend the Quest Auckland Serviced Apartments Hotel for its wonderful accommodations, excellent staff, and unbeatable location.
