Stayed for a night and booked a superior triple room with breakfast. $400+ seems a bit over the top. Did not see a happy face at the reception desk.Toilets/bath lacked basics such as shower caps, toiletries like toothpaste e.t.c. One had to go to the bar to get some drinking water, we were greeted by an empty jug of water. Breakfast was below par with a limited range for vegetarians and extra $$ for a proper coffee.

The service wasn't best cause unfortunately we asked for towels and they said they couldn't deliver it to the room. The welcoming was great, they were able to accommodate our earler check in, however after settling into the room, the housekeeping team walked in to the room, I think they still had to finish with cleaning the room cause after a while we noticed that the bin bags were missing. The morning after the housekeeping staff knocked at the door asking what time we were going to check out when we had already requested a late check out at reception. Rooms were great but I have to admit, I experienced better service in other 4 stars hotels.

I stayed for two nights while delivering an event nearby and chose this hotel for its convenient location near the rail station—just outside the city but easy to access. The room was comfortable, the bed very nice, and the overall space well-kept. The property is a combined Novotel and ibis, offering a range of facilities. I also appreciated the separate café area apart from the main restaurant—an excellent spot to relax or work between commitments. Breakfast offered a good variety, and dinners were tasty, though a little on the pricey and smaller side. On Saturday night, the hotel offered a $69 NZD buffet, though I opted for the à la carte menu. The staff were genuinely lovely, and their warmth really made the stay. Overall, a comfortable and friendly stay in a convenient location—with a bit more focus on member recognition, it could be excellent.

I was in town for a 5 night stay which included catching up with family, attending a work function, dining out, and attending a national dance competition. The location of the hotel, being in the centre of Auckland and near to the Southern Motorway, made it very easy to access everything I needed to. Over the 5 nights, I had 4 breakfasts in the restaurant, 1 room service dinner, 1 dinner in the main restaurant, 1 dessert in the bar and 1 dinner in the bar. All delicious. The room was comfortable and I really enjoyed having a couch to spread out on. Computer access was easy.

In thursday out Monday for a conference, check in and out - easy in house room cleaning and tidy - excellent buffet food - not great - too much sugary foods and carbs which make everyone want to fall asleep in the next session! chicken always dry, not enough veges, fruit platters (ie cut up) will always work better than a fruit bowl, not many will crunch into a whole apple, though all the bananas went (easy to eat) Dinner for the gala was great. Overall a good experience.

Stayed here for one night. It was my first time here and I booked because the rate was great compared to other Auckland hotels. Getting to the hotel was nice and easy, just the main highway. Parking is gated and there’s plenty of space. Reception was also spacious and the hotel was decked out with FIFA decorations because the women’s World Cup was on - I was lucky to see some of the Argentinian team. The room was nice and comfortable, with all the amenities needed. The bed nice and soft. I had a great sleep. Although you’re right next to the main highway I didn’t notice the noise. I had a couple drinks in the bar. It was pretty quiet so no waiting for service. I was going to eat at the restaurant for dinner but changed my mind after reading reviews that were mostly negative. The menu was quite pricey too. I used the gym in the morning. It was well equipped with modern equipment and views out to the highway. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great place to stay... Everything is really tidy & clean. But.....Service in the Dining room sure could do with a major tweak as we were waiting so long for another drink, that we gave up waiting & got out own, also gave up waiting for a waiter to take our desert request. Childs order also was received after the adults which isn't great, then we also had to ask for the child's desert. Service in the restaurant was shocking. Great that it's only 10 minutes walk to the train station.

Nice looking place, great breakfast buffet and conference rooms facilities. However, the room is the worst I've ever stayed in, underneath the bed was filthy, bed sheet had two stains on it, behind the curtains were stained (watermarking), dusty, shower glass has soap residue, the grout between the wall and tiles had pink mould.

Handy for Auckland without having to drive into the city. A nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. The bar has a nice atmosphere and seemed to be a meeting place for locals after work. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Would stay again.

Reception friendly. Beds super comfy with lots of pillows. Very clean . Irons, hairdryer and kettle in rooms so nice . There is a self service laundry available as well as full service so very useful.. I was there for conference and food was great but fancy coffee machines were slow and more than half the time not working. Also need to stock up hand towels in bathrooms more often and actually check that soap and creams etc provided in holders are filled.
