   It was good value for money and the lady who came to reception was kind and friendly. The rooms was tidy and warm however the blankets were abit thin and the room did not include a hairdryer.

   Sam has to be one of the nicest and most conscientious moteliers I have come across in my travels in the past few years. We received a text in the morning to check on our arrival time (which was handy as I hadn't gotten around to looking up where we were staying at that point!) When we arrived not only had he managed to sort an earlier check in for us (he'd prewarned us the room would be available at 1pm) but he had had a cancellation, so moved us into a bigger room! We chose this motel due to its proximity to Mt Smart Stadium (Up Dah Wahs) only 1.4km and an easy walk. The property is older and based on the price I wasn't expecting flash. The flooring has been recently replaced, the bed was super comfortable and full range of Sky TV. I will definitely return next time I head up to Mt Smart!

   I have just had two nights in Unit 17 at the Rockfield. Great host. This is an older motel but the rooms have double glazing and aircon, fresh paint and a very comfortable bed. The town was fully booked because of the women's rugby world cup and so my usual haunts in the CBD were unavailable. I will stay here again for sure. There were some bad reviews from months ago but everyone in the complex was friendly and quiet. The mix of residents to visitors is good. Good sized kitchenette, wifi was great, furniture comfortable, and good sized car parks. Recommend.

   This place has been an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are spotless and very nice. The studio room is a smaller room but definitely more than enough for 2 people. The rooms are cleaned every day while we are away and we come back to fresh towels, floor mats and often they’ve noticed we need something and have provided it. It has been excellent service, they’re super friendly and helpful. We are so grateful for such an amazing, safe place to stay. Will definitely be back!! Location is good as Sylvia park is near by, dressmart, and it’s not too far into the city.
