Acc booked a accessible room as Im a wheelchair user. There was no staff on site and had to ring to get code forsafe to retrieve key. Once in room where you have to put tag i to slot to get power was about 1.6m up the wall with a bed in front of it so impossible to insert without having g to transfer to the bed then stretch to put it in. All the plates and glasses whereupon in high shelves that a wheelchair user can't reach . The height of the benchs are standard height and not lower for wheelchair users. The bathroom has shelves next to the toilet where your wheelchair would go when transferring to toilet. The shower head was at its highest setting and pointing towards the door so yet again something someone in a wheelchair cannot reach. They claim the room us accessible but it really isn't!

Quite impressed with the room we stayed in. It was large and modernised with everything working well. Great water pressure in shower. Quiet given that it is in a busy area. Check in is by phone and lockbox which takes the friendliness and help away but I would definitely stay again.

No service whatsoever, if you arrive late, like after 5, good luck. You'll need to call ahead and make sure you know the code to open the safe and retrieve your key. Don't forget to wash, dry and put away all your dishes or you will be charged $30 for the cleaner to do it. If you want a double bed make sure you tell them at least twice. If you like a dark room for sleeping in, ask for a room with no lights outside cause the curtains are pretty useless. Nice bathroom though.

Very disappointed. As an elderly person arrived to find no reception only a phone number. Couldn't get in, no key to unit. Phoned number, couldn't get an answer, eventually call switched to another number still no answer. Son arrived he phoned couldn't get an answer, then after 7 training announcements about staff he got through. Person required credit card details & charged the full amount of the 3 night stay immediately, even before we had a chance to see the motel unit. There were electronic keys (found under a mat) so he could lock us out if he wanted. On entering we found the rooms dirty, large stains on furniture, the place smelt like it hadn't' been used/aired for weeks. The shower head was broken & barely usable. As we had already paid we had no choice but to stay only to find the shower head broke fully on the 3rd day & was unusable cheap & nasty. On returning home found extra charges on credit card that were not authorised. Complained & about the shower & was told we would get a refund of $20.00 which never happened. Whatever you do, "Do not stay here", Other reviews cited by the motel must be false if our motel unit was anything to go by. There is "ZERO" service, no one to complain to, & with your credit card already charged they have all the control. "Worst" motel I have ever stayed at in over 75 years.

Loved the stay, very quiet, very clean room, really spacious unit for 5. Great kitchen, beds & bathroom Everything catered for our needs. Definitely our new go to place when in Auckland. Excellent price for what we got.

Super convenient and very well priced for the area. Stayed in a 6 bed suite with some friedns over a weekend together and would hight recommend. The room was clean and well presented with secure electric hotel locks, which honestly isn't somethingI'vee seen on a motel in nz before. The room was vlean and very spacious, smelt fresh and clean. The bathroom to our suite was a stunning walk in showe, and there were war, clean towels waiting for us on arrival. For 375 a night between 6 people.. i highly recommend the ellerslie palms motel. Super convenient, nice apartment style room and very quiet to boot. I will definitely be back again if i need a big room again

Where do I even start. I stayed here with 2 others and we had a really bad time. We found cockroaches in our room and it was dusty enough to set off our allergies. I had multiple asthma attacks and we found mold in the bathroom/shower. We also found out that there is lotion in the conditioner bottle. It was just an overall very poor experience. Not to mention for the price we paid it was just redicilulous. DO NOT RECCOMMEND.

Booked one night as very close to where we needed to be going. Specifically asked for a downstairs unit, which was confirmed as one of the party is disabled. We were put in an upstairs room. No one on site when we went to check in and we had not been advised of a lock box number. I checked emails texts to make sure I had not missed it. Made 4 phone calls to try and get access, this was 4.30 in the afternoon. In the end someone on the phone made a call to someone in the house office that we had been standing outside of for 20 minutes. The person that came out was not impressed at being disturbed. Vacuum cleaner and a mop still sitting on the pathway next morning and the emergency exit sign lying on the stairs. We will never stay there again.

Location, parking & room was excellent! The room was very clean, modern and the shower had great water pressure. The only downside we had was that our room wasn’t ready by 2pm and reception was quite often closed. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
