“Look by any means this place is not super flash but I think it’s seriously good value. I stayed for 2 nights at $160 a night in the run up to Xmas. Great location, great price and a great big room with a super comfy bed. Also used the pool which was all ok. Remember to take your room towel as the day I was there none were provided. Lastly check in and staff were all good. Remember people it’s $160 NZD for a massive room in the middle of the city.”

“Apartment was good, but a little dated. But the plus side, it had everything. For 9 nights it was a home away from home, with the residents being nice, the staff being amazing, and the facilities top notch, having a pool and gym. Laundry services in the apartment and the ability to cook simple items in your room. Located perfectly to make escaping Auckland city incredibly easy when you wish. Would definitely recommend.”

“I stayed for two nights while delivering an event nearby and chose this hotel for its convenient location near the rail station—just outside the city but easy to access. The room was comfortable, the bed very nice, and the overall space well-kept. The property is a combined Novotel and ibis, offering a range of facilities. I also appreciated the separate café area apart from the main restaurant—an excellent spot to relax or work between commitments. Breakfast offered a good variety, and dinners were tasty, though a little on the pricey and smaller side. On Saturday night, the hotel offered a $69 NZD buffet, though I opted for the à la carte menu. The staff were genuinely lovely, and their warmth really made the stay. Overall, a comfortable and friendly stay in a convenient location—with a bit more focus on member recognition, it could be excellent.”

“Lovely Motel to stay at with comfy beds and spa bath. Nice wee kitchen with fridge including a plunge pot for that morning coffee. it’s great they run a shuttle service for pick up and drop off. Couldn’t have been happier .12/10”

“I traveled to NZ to celebrate turning 50. The Oaks was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Absolutely perfect. The front-end staff members were attentive and exceedingly kind. Connor was the first person I interacted with and proved to be an invaluable resource during my week stay at The Oaks property. “A wonderful hotel, friendly and with very efficient staff. Well appointed and a great selection of rooms, and it is so so quiet at night.... And a bonus is the cafe, bar, restaurant off the lobby and too the gym. And a further bonus is its location across a small reserve to the Spark Arena, and a short stroll to Queen Street. And it comes with a carpark for guests downstairs!! AWESOME!!”

In our extensive travelling experience in New Zealand’s different motels at different locations this one by far has been extremely enjoyable and pleasant, especially would like to thank to the Property Manager Mr.Shailender, for providing us with the best accommodation available, thank you for being incredibly generous with your time. “Hotel receptionist Smitri was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Although we booked through a third-party service and didn’t reserve a parking space, she went out of her way to find one for us. She was polite and empathetic, especially considering our situation traveling with a toddler. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and the room was clean and well-maintained, the kitchenette is a bunos! Kudos to the housekeeping team as well, the room was still serviced even after 5 PM, which we really appreciated. Would love to book again in the future!”

“Maison Blanc Lodge is an experience not to be missed. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. The Chef Ron was so talented and delivered an incredible array of delectable meals for both breakfast and dinner. The location is tranquil and always changing. I saw the fattest woodpigeon I had ever seen, and they literally fly over your head. The view at night is gorgeous. Loved the swim spa. The decor is so interesting, and the bedding was very comfortable. The fire that was lit for us each night and was certainly romantic and added ambience to the whole experience. I can highly recommend staying at Maison Blanc Lodge. Thank you Neilio & Ron. It was just what we needed.”

“Spend 2 nights at the "studio". We had a great sleep and our sight was amazing. Thank you, that we could be your guests. Own bathroom, but no kitchen. But that was fine. We had a toaster, boiler and some dishes, which was fine. Carpark and WiFi also available”

“If only I knew. I worked in Auckland off and on over 2 years, and Debbies cottage would have made those experiences so much better than staying in the apartment. It’s a perfect layout - separated from the main house, cosy, fully self contained, and a stones throw from the Mt Eden shops. Notable and awesome fact: it’s in a dead end street, behind Mt Eden - so it’s quiet. Really quiet. So great. As was the hospitality of Debbie. Will look to return ASAP.”

They handled my delayed airport luggage smoothly. They helped split my business/holiday charges across multiple credit cards and provided separate tax invoices without any hassle. They made modifying my third-party booking seamless. Spacious, comfortable room with everything needed for extended stays. Fantastic room service and cleaning. “Have stayed for 3 days when visiting Auckland. Easy to find and easy to get to anywhere in Auckland including the city centre. The owner provides great communication while providing valuable information about the area. The room was very tidy and clean with useful facilities such as a charging station for a mobile phone/watch beside the bed. The owner is always at the premises and provides prompt help if needed. I needed a little help to get some information about the area near the motel and the owner was kindly giving me lots of information with recommendations of the shops. I needed a corkscrew to drink wine late at night, so I contacted the owner, and he provided it without any sign of displeasure, even though it was late at night. Definitely recommend to stay this place when you need accommodation in Auckland :)”
