   Lovely room with a view across to the rose gardens and very comfortable bed. The staff, especially in the restaurant, were very welcoming and pleasant. Meals were good value for money. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

   A centrally located hotel with free parking facilities. Professional and helpful staff. My plumbing was blocked and it was resolved immediately. Thank you Tony the maintenance guy ☺️! Room was clean and well maintained. I had a ground floor room next to the main road and on a main passage way. At times it could be noisy. Close to Parnell Road and a lot of good eateries. But prepare for a long uphill walk. Overall, a nice place...

   I've stayed a Rose park several times and it's always been a great budget place with big rooms and good views. After the refurb it's lovely. Beds have always been comfy but seem even better. Still plenty of parking and pretty easy walk to the CBD if that's your thing (I'm old, I drive...). My only niggle is the water pressure in the shower is very low, so you have to move around a bit to wash, but other than that, a great place to stay, I'll be back, and soon.

   Loved our stay at Auckland Rose Park Hotel. The staff at the restaurant are so friendly, really accommodating to our 1 year old girl specially Kristina, and they are all so pleasant to chat with. Our room is clean and tidy. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Plus the hotel provide free parking. The location of the hotel is superberb as it is away from the busy areas of Auckland but it is closed to everywhere that we wanted to go - SeaLife, Mission Bay, New Market, and City Centre. Would stay here again, and would recommend this to hotel to friends and families.

   Beautiful view of the sea and rose gardens from 3rd level restaurant. The service was A+ The only reason for my 4 stars was the noise of doors closing etc. Maybe cos I was on the ground level. The traffic as well was a bit noisy.

   Thank you Auckland Rose Park Hotel for another great stay, even with the disruptions of the refurbishment you guys continued to give the quality service we've come to know. New look in the rooms is great, fresh modern and well laid out. Great team let by Ramon from the guys on the front line of the reception team, to the unsung heroes of the, Housekeeping team ,who's commitment to the comfort of the guests keeps us coming back for more, rooms always fresh clean and tidy. Fantastic location for going to events, spark arena just around the corner, great Rose garden just across the road for a nice stroll, viaduct less than 10 minutes down the road, what more can you ask for. Free secure car parking is also a great bonus. I have, and will not hesitate again to recommend Auckland Rose Park Hotel to family and friends.

   We stayed here over a difficult time when all hotels were fully booked and they went out of their way to help us as we had slept in our car the night before due to no availability, they were so kind and caring while we were waiting news on my sick dog in Auckland animal hospital, when I was making a mug cake they were happy for us to use the staff microwave, while we were waiting for them to prep our room they made us all tea and let us lounge around reception waiting. Amazing staff

   Really good stay at this hotel. Excellent location to walk to the Spark Arena and back. Very friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom while a bit old and dated were very clean. I would absolutely stay here again especially since things are being refurbished. I’d love to see it when it’s all done. Hopefully some double glazing will be done. It was a bit noisy on the roadside.

   The people are lovely. Honestly, they're so nice. But I did feel like they were overwhelmed - there was a room mix-up and they looked so confused. The breakfast is great, the beds are comfortable, and the shower pressure is Excellent. But the bathrooms were really dirty. The floor of mine was covered in dust and dirt, the shower curtain had mould spots and the bottom of the white shower curtain was yellow plus the curtain was so long that it dragged into the bath below (slip hazard). The grout between the cute pink tiles was orange with soap scum. My workmate had similar issues plus her bathroom floor was actually muddy. I have absolutely no issues for a hotel that's a bit run down and shabby, but it needs to be clean. It was a shock that the bathrooms were so dirty. We were kept awake by a late coach arrival and the new guests were running around yelling at 11pm. On a work trip we go really hard and when we get in, we really need to sleep. It was pretty rough. Again, lovely people. Really, they were super lovely! But the cleanliness and facilities were not up to standard.
