Stayed here last weekend. Was a late booking but they accommodated me really well. Room was bigger than expected and round the back so no noise. Great shower and large comfy bed. Host was good. Had everything I needed. Will use again. They also had a folder with menu sheets for nearby eateries.
Good comms, was late in, they flicked text with all of the info to get in to the room. The room was tidyish but a few issues, same as someone else said, the drain needs to be sorted as the bathroom absolutely stunk, air con didn't switch on, walls paper thin, so get woken up easily, glasses still wet so cleaning was a bit concerning. Wouldn't recommend staying here if you need a good night's sleep.
This motel was dark, dated and dirty. We stayed here in April 2025 in unit 1. The shower drain was disgusting and smelt, it stunk the whole room out for our stay. The flooring was dirty, and had not been laid professionally. The owners need to spend some money to get this motel up to a decent standard. We regretted staying here, especially for $190. They were not around in the morning so we did not get to give this feedback verbally.
Have stayed for 3 days when visiting Auckland. Easy to find and easy to get to anywhere in Auckland including the city centre. The owner provides great communication while providing valuable information about the area. The room was very tidy and clean with useful facilities such as a charging station for a mobile phone/watch beside the bed. The owner is always at the premises and provides prompt help if needed. I needed a little help to get some information about the area near the motel and the owner was kindly giving me lots of information with recommendations of the shops. I needed a corkscrew to drink wine late at night, so I contacted the owner, and he provided it without any sign of displeasure, even though it was late at night. Definitely recommend to stay this place when you need accommodation in Auckland :)
I’ve stayed at this Motor Inn a few times now and I absolutely love it! The customer service is always great and the rooms are awesome! Especially the comfy king size beds. It’s great for a quick stopover of your travelling and close to restaurants and supermarkets. Thanks so much for having us again. Kind regards Alicia

Have saved quite a few times. BUT the house cleaning not good cobwebs and daddy longleg spider's room dusty and skirting board's covered in dust. Dirty cup put back in cupboard not good.will not be staying again.
Great location, very clean and tidy, we had a back 1 bed apartment with a little garden with a table and chairs at the back. PAC n save 2 mins walk. Very quiet at the back. Good comfy bed and awesome shower.
