“Found this spot on a gorgeous day in New Zealand, waiting for one of my daughter's to get in at the Wellington Airport. I got more than I expected, pulling off into the provided parking area. Very peaceful but your not totally alone, many came & went while I was there. A nice find for a waiting place. You can watch planes come in or go out.”

Many of the flowers are from the Southern Hemisphere and so for visitors from the rest of the world, it's a really unique experience. Special mention for the bees and birds who aren't really that afraid of humans. A must visit of you love flowers.”

Theo’s cottage was well appointed and equipped with everything we needed including treats :) we had the whole reserve to ourselves at night and early morning which was truly amazing. The staff, wildlife and surroundings were of high quality and I highly recommend the kiwi encounter, eel feeding, bird talk and accommodation. Thanks for hosting us this weekend team.”

The hike itself was great and there was a nice picnic area great for enjoying some cheeky snacks. I had some Sichuanese style noodles. There are also great views of the bay from the top area of the hike. Would recommend!”

“We took our two mokopuna to Adrenaline Forest today. The eldest has been a couple of times and was confident after his briefing to get started. The younger was less so but certainly gave it his best. They both succeeded and had a great time. My thanks to the staff who supported my mokos in particular but were attentive to all. Clear safety instructions showing exactly how to use the equipment; and just the right encouragement when one of my boys got stuck. A reminder of the basics and gentle but firm guidance from the ground. All the reassurance that was needed and our moko carried on again. No doubt the boys will be back and their koro and I will be happy to accompany them. Ngā mihi ki a koutou...”

“The Island Bay Marine Education Centre, also known as "The Bait House", is an interactive marine experience based in Island Bay on Wellington's south coast. As well as there being lots of different sea creatures on display (including a couple of octupuses, sea horses, crayfish, turtles, a grumpy blue cod to name a few) you can also handle starfish, sea cucumbers, sea anemones, crabs and other sea life found un the touch pools. There is far more inside than you would expect from the outside and the volunteers whi wirk there are very friendly and helpful. It is really reasonably priced ($5 for adults, $2 per child) and we were all entertained for ages. Really good fun and educational too. Definitely worth checking out with the family.”

I order a burguer was all meat, chicken very Juicy and of quality I was surprised to be a honest. I think will eat more here. Very affordable but is mostly sandwiches and burgers. Oh and breakfast. Coffee looks very well done. The burguer was 12nzd and you can add for 7 nzd the can and the chips. I think I enter one time and just didn't though much for the looks so I tho hmm may be not. But now that I actually eat here all looks lovely and fresh. Looks like a very vintage Cafe. I'm very happy to give this place an opportunity.”

“Shout out to our planetarium guide at the 8:30 show last night (Wednesday Dec 3). Greeted us when we arrived. Shared his genuine enthusiasm for the stars and the mission of Space Place. The exhibits space is small/medium, but the quality was quite high and captures the teenagers with us (no small feat!) with the right level of engagement and knowledge share. You can easily spend a couple hours with the planetarium show. I live in Los Angeles and while Griffith Observatory is quite famous, the exhibit quality for kids, teens and adults is superior if you take the time to read the material and enjoy the video/interactive set ups.”

I found the Panand curry too creamy for my liking, may be that's how it is prepared, the taste was good. Rotis and Satay sauce was very good too. Service was good. The new place on Cuba is lovely.
