Amazing food and very friendly staff. I bought a Chicken Biriyani. It was delicious and more than enough for two people. It is the best place to experience a wide variety of Indian food. Thank you, Green Chilli, for your outstanding service. I was so happy and will come again.
The butter chicken dish cost $25 only came with a few bit of chicken, just doesn't feel like worth the price. Despite that 2 pieces of naan bread came completely charcoal burned in the back.....I don't think food that got burnt this badly should still get served to customers, or anyone, really. Absolutely awful, don't know what to else say, Ordered with them off uber eat, definitely won't order from them again
My favourite curry place in Wellington. Really reasonably priced and the combo is really good bang for your buck! They are the nicest people too, service is fabulous.
I was very happily received. The veggie samosas are incredible. The curry as well. I will definitely come back. Pricing is more than reasonable for how yummy it is.
It’s been about 2 months since our last Green Chili takeaway - not sure if it’s because it’s been a while or because it was in fact better, but it was the best curry we’ve had in Welly. We got chicken tikka masala (not tandoori chicken, sadly), chef’s special chicken curry (yum!), lamb rogan josh & saag paneer (a bit too sweet for me). In the past, I’ve remembered the chicken being a bit dry & the naan being a bit floppy, but the curry itself being good enough to make up for that. This time everything was on point.
The food is so good. I tend to come a few times a month. They alway remember me and are so nice. They make their naans from scratch and they are absolutely delicious. The location is great. Plenty of vegetarian options too. I highly recommend. Best Indian takeaway in Wellington.
Truly delicious! Hands down the best curry in Wellington. Highly recommend the saag paneer & chef’s special chicken curry. Also, lovely people.

There wasn’t a single weak link in this meal. The tikka paneer was creamy with a nice spice level; the butter chicken was the highlight; the naan bread was soft and flavorful, and the bhaji was crispy and light. A faultless takeaway with prompt delivery time! **Every picture was taken after we had already started eating the meal, so pictures are not true to the real portion size
Located at a prime location in Wellington. Very easily assessible to people living in Hataitainand surrounding areas. Amazing and superb quality food. They have variety of options available. If you want to eat vegetarian or non vegetarian both are available. Superb quality of food. I would highly recommend you to go once and taste the food. The thing which I really liked about this place is they provide a high quality of food, timely delivery and a customized taste as well according to your taste buds. People are very friendly and they can even suggest you some good food options if you are not aware about what you need to have. At the end I would say please do visit this place and enjoy the good food!
