   It's a wonderful if very long hike to this lighthouse. Make sure to bring water on sunny days and think twice about going when its windy. The winds around the lighthouse are strong! That said, you can take nice pictures during windy episodes.

   Loved the place. You can hire mountain bike or E bike. Or just hike. Plenty of parking, toilets and bike hiring store at the entrance

   Absolute amazing walk! Went here for a walk today. It was absolutely amazing scenery along the walk to get there. The historic lighthouse was breathtaking with amazing scenery at the top. The walk takes around 3 hours around and is about 14km. Overall, I'd highly recommend doing this walk if in Wellington.

   Such a long trail and have to climb up the mountain to reach the upper lighthouse of pencarrow. Lots of awesome trails with views of the beach, mountains and green landscape. Biking is the most recommended option so as to cover a lot of stuff around and enjoy all the views from the top.

   Absolutely stunning ride. Challenging to access, particularly via bike - make sure you are well prepared with strudy footwear. Beautiful views. Little windy, of course. But hey, totally worth it. Must do !

   Love biking up here, follow on down to the lake. Around the boardwalk up the other side. It's a great circuit. The views from the lookout above the lake are spectacular, the history is cool. The is a super rare dendraglyph if you know where to look.

   You can hire a bike from bike shed and cycle to the lighthouse. Not so difficult. Good for a family day out on a sunny day. You can also walk the distance. Unfortunately, cars now need a special permission to enter the costal road
