Good to get out into nature between bouts of rain today. Percy Scenic Reserve is close by & looked great with all the extra rain contributing to the waterfalls.
Lovely, grassy area for picnics in view of the duck ponds and bridge. Love the water wheel. Beatiful nature trail to the waterfall.
One of the more accessible walks in Lower Hutt area. Senior-friendly with family picnic areas. There's also a nice horsetail-shaped waterfalls at the end of the track.
A good picnic area with options for short walks. The waterfall track was quite beautiful. Can go with kids. However, the tracks to the lookout was quite steep. On the top there is a beautiful view. The picnic area was good to spend sometime with kids. A pond with lots of Duck is there which might interests kids. Also a small cave is there, good take photos but doesn't lead any where
Percy Scenic Reserve is a hidden gem. I’ve lived in Wellington for 5 years before finally stumbling upon it. Highly recommended as a short relaxing walk through the bush!
