Best service from Shirley, hub for bus drivers, characters and old people sharing war stories. Food doesnβt mess around - large delicious portions and yummy cakes and sweets. Classic old school New Zealand spot.
Never experienced anything like this! A truly perfect meal in a classy and minimalist diner. Got to spend quality time with my dad (for the first time in a long time) over a delightful plate. My dad paid $16 for an enormous breakfast and I paid $10 for a salad and chips. Food was 11/10 and the owner/operator was the kindest woman I have ever met (nicer than my nana). Thank you for everything. Thank you for bringing my family back together β€οΈ
Shirley has been running this place for years. Best value for money breakfast in Wellington. Standard bacon and eggs comes with a heaping of bacon and two eggs any style plus toast and a side plate of fried slice [genuine greasy spoon]. I like my bacon extra crispy... local treasure!!!!
