“This place has accommodated my kids and I am grateful, staff are so kind and nice. The place is spacious and heaps of educational toys for kids, my kids had learned a lot in the school. Brooklyn Kids is now Busy Bee. They have some parking spaces and there are several stores around.”
“children attended good atmosohere”
“I really enjoyed my time in this lounge and it’s one of Qantas’ better smaller offerings. There’s a decent spread of food which is kept topped up with fresh items and the free pour drinks are never left running low either. All the seating is comfortable with plenty of electric sockets throughout, with good views out of the large windows. Nice decor throughout with some pleasant reading available makes it relaxing as well as functional and the bathroom facilities are clean. Best of all are the informative yet entertaining announcements made by the front desk - I’ve never been kept so well informed during delays and there’s no chance of you getting to the gate too early, or indeed late, with the key information they share - brilliant service! I look forward to returning.”
“Macaroni and mocha were absolutely delicious! Great service as well.”
“Compliments to the island lady that’s always on the mic at the drive thru. She was on today at 9pm and ALWAYS Provides the loveliest service. Not once have I seen her without a big smile and I’m here a lot. Love and blessings to her ❤️❤️❤️”
“Me and my mum love coming here for our cafe hot chocolate and McMuffins we come once a week there are other McDonald's but we prefer Newtown one only great friendly staff on drive through and inside!”
“Mikey and the team are honestly the best bloody humans out, the work Mikey has put on me blows my mind and everyone around… i constantly get asked who does your incredible ink…. I am basically part of the ATBs furniture poor bastards!!!!! Keep up the amazing work and the best banter ever!!!!!!!!”
Barbers on Manners is a hair salon offering cuts and styling and men's grooming. The team is known for friendly service and professional care.
“We went to the bring your baby “Lighthouse littles” session yesterday. The staff were absolutely lovely. As a new mum it was so nice to have such friendly and accommodating staff. They explained how it would work and offered their help if we needed anything. Will definitely go back :)”
“Friendly staff, easy booking via text and comfortable seating. Small, but really like it, as I struggle with the noise level at bigger cinemas. And sometimes, I want to watch a movie on a big screen :)”
“Always a great experience. It makes me feel like I’m back in a 90’s movie theatre.”
“Wētā Cave is a must-visit in Wellington for anyone interested in Hollywood movies and the magic behind them. The experience offers an incredible behind-the-scenes look at how iconic Hollywood films are brought to life, with detailed props, costumes, models, and displays showcasing the craftsmanship and creativity involved. Seeing the level of detail up close gives you a whole new appreciation for what goes into blockbuster filmmaking. The atmosphere is relaxed yet inspiring, and the staff are passionate and knowledgeable, happily sharing insights and stories from major film productions. It’s an easy and enjoyable stop while exploring Wellington or the Miramar area, and the overall experience feels immersive and well worth the ticket. The store is also a highlight, packed with unique collectibles and memorabilia. If you love Hollywood films or creative storytelling, Wētā Cave is an experience you shouldn’t miss”
“Great place to watch a movie, especially for Lord of the Rings fans. Watching The War of the Rohirrim here was a special experience. The theater’s charm and atmosphere added to the magic. Definitely worth a visit!”
“A superb park, well laid out with great planning. The planting attracts birds of all types including the rowdy Tui. Great water features. Plenty of spacious parking and electric car charging posts. Toilets suffer from vandals but usable”
“So cute and cosy move theatre❤️”
“Pataka is so good. they’re very open with diverse artists, especially Māori & Pasifika. a lot of their art have political meanings, which is awesome. there’s an interactive play room for children, easy to get around too”
“Great little cinema with cosy seating for two.”
“First time here. Fabulously classic well-maintained small town theatre. Two lovely women welcomed a small number of patrons seeing Ms Information. No mainstream New Plymouth theatre took the risk. Congratulations Kings for showing this film.”
“We had a wonderful experience. It was a very nice, spacious room with great amenities. We were lucky enough to have been given a room upgrade. Great location within walking distance to a lot of different things (beach, museum, markets, Courtney Place, Cuba street).”
“Gray location with plenty of parking. Large cafe style area for food and beverages and many lovely wee nooks to wait for your movie in. Sofas and cushions. Good food and coffee.”
“Not sure why, but every time I attend a gig here, this kid in booty shorts tells me I'm too drunk to be served. It keeps happening. Quite annoying because every time I want a beer I have to leave the premises, go to Hotel Bristol, order from a grown-up, sink my drink in like 90 seconds then head back to San Fran, hoping I haven't missed too much of the set i've paid good money to see. I'd recommend some staff training.”
“What a cool little bar. Locate the sign on the street and walk up the stairs. The entrance has no real sign, there is just a closed door and when opened reveals a funky bar. Cool atmosphere, would be great in winter on a cosy winter night but we enjoyed it on a hot summers night. Just stopped for one drink but wish we could have stayed longer.”
“The best ramen I've found in Wellington so far - hearty flavourful broth, perfectly soft-boiled egg, thin juicy pork ... Well worth the exploration up the mysterious stairs for the authentic vibes and chill J-Rock playlist. Definitely gonna start taking friends and family here!”
“Wonderful space with 2 exhibitions on the ground floor. Entry by donation. The receptionist was very helpful, telling us the rules of entry and provided a brochure with information on the exhibits. Photos were allowed in the Pop Garden light show, but not in the portrait section. A small shop had some reasonably priced items for locals and tourists. The cafe was extremely busy.”
“Really delivered with this 2001 IMAX experience. On the bigger side of imax screens and even tho it's only 4k the clarity was still really good (If your wondering how large placing your phone to your nose is about how big it is) Sound setup was truly amazing too as well as the seating, pay that extra for the reclining bring in a blanket and I'd pass out on those chairs. And portions here are crazy jumbo drink is 1L and the popcorn is like a 3-4L bucket completely filled got through like a quarter. If anyone is thinking about outside food, they aren't that strict about it here which is something I like I've never had issues bringing in some whittakers, box of magnums etc. as long as the packaging isn't loud and you buy at least something at the bar they are pretty chill.”
“Visited the Cafe and exhibitions today. The Cafe food and coffee was top quality, and the exhibition spaces are well set out. The art works were suitably challenging, made us think and ponder, which good art should do! Highly recommend a visit.”
“Love the music great atmosphere”
