“Really delivered with this 2001 IMAX experience. On the bigger side of imax screens and even tho it's only 4k the clarity was still really good (If your wondering how large placing your phone to your nose is about how big it is) Sound setup was truly amazing too as well as the seating, pay that extra for the reclining bring in a blanket and I'd pass out on those chairs. And portions here are crazy jumbo drink is 1L and the popcorn is like a 3-4L bucket completely filled got through like a quarter. If anyone is thinking about outside food, they aren't that strict about it here which is something I like I've never had issues bringing in some whittakers, box of magnums etc. as long as the packaging isn't loud and you buy at least something at the bar they are pretty chill.”
“The staff are always so friendly and accommodating and sometimes I think more people need to attend. Cinemas are clean and chairs are comfy. Tuesdays are 1/2 price so definitely worth an outing.”
“Friendly staff, easy booking via text and comfortable seating. Small, but really like it, as I struggle with the noise level at bigger cinemas. And sometimes, I want to watch a movie on a big screen :)”

“Gray location with plenty of parking. Large cafe style area for food and beverages and many lovely wee nooks to wait for your movie in. Sofas and cushions. Good food and coffee.”
“Loved it! My uncle had his birthday celebration here. He ordered in pizza and ice cream which we enjoyed while milling around the cinema, before watching a movie. There are heaps of cool things to look at and read. The cinema is a great size for a small-ish group. We loved it”
“Went here for the first time to see Wake Up Dead Man and it was a very nice experience. Although the layout made it feel a bit like a bingo parlour upon first entry, the amount of people gathered here gave the venue a much livelier feel than other local theatres, and the screens and audio quality were top notch. It had more of a community vibe than I was expecting and I think we’ll frequent this cinema more often than not in the future.”
“We had eggs and calamari. The eggs had nice rosti but could have been a little runnier. The portion size was good. Calamari was tender. Chips were good. Tiramasu and brownie were very good. Nice, clean space with plenty of room. Family friendly. Service was pleasant. Would recommend for a reliable, nice, chilled weekend brunch.”

The experience offers an incredible behind-the-scenes look at how iconic Hollywood films are brought to life, with detailed props, costumes, models, and displays showcasing the craftsmanship and creativity involved. “Legendary place, good architectural gift on Wellington. It's a classic and iconic multifunction building on lower Cuba .”
“Hidden gem. This place's esthetic is true Japanese and yet, it's blended so well with good world beer and the art of conversation. Dominic, the bar owner made me feel welcomed and we chatted about the world and beer for ages. They made me great beer recommendations and made me a stonkin' vegan sandwich (pulled jackfruit). Low-key. Friendly. Tasty beer and snacks. Top marks!”
“The Events Centre is a brand new development with the latest audio visual equipment for conferencing and events. The spaces has all new amenities, facilities and class leading infrastructure to support any size of event up to a maximum of 1200 delegates (static audience).”

“First time here. Fabulously classic well-maintained small town theatre. Two lovely women welcomed a small number of patrons seeing Ms Information. No mainstream New Plymouth theatre took the risk. Congratulations Kings for showing this film.”
